I used to think that people who preferred this generation and called the Next Class trash we’re just being bias and extra. Next Class is how I got introduced to Degrassi but there is something special about seeing the NG cast go from little dorky kids to adults. From flip phones to smartphones. Some of the character development along these 9 seasons has been absolutely beautiful and it honestly makes me a little emotional to see them go. Oh well, at least there’s Eli to look forward to.

I don't particularly ship Spinner and Emma, but I like that their wedding showed just how much they've grown up. Like Spinner didn't even think for a second to change his mind again when Jane showed up and Emma inviting them to stay showed just how secure she was. It was nice. And honestly I don't think Jane would have worked out to be end game because she had her own issues. Every time Spinner wanted her to settle down with him, she came up with an excuse to run. Mind you she is young, I mean they all are, but it seems like settling down was something Spinner just really wanted and I don't think Jane was ever going to give that to him.

I know Emma and spinner was a shock. Because there was no build up, minimal communication, and they were better with other significant others. But not everyone fall in love once, it will be multiple times until they’ve found the one. Maybe after they’ve done soul searching within themselves? Or during. Also reasons like this is why fanficition exist. It’s 100% okay to not like something canon on a show and read a fanfic where the opposite happened.
