I grew up watching the original Degrassi shows. It taught me about so many things like abortion, drugs, HIV/AIDS, etc. Really heavy topics in such a great show! I really think my generation was shaped by this show to be more understanding and to ask questions. It helped us to realize that we weren't alone in dealing with life as a kid. I did watch some of the new series, and it was good, but I noticed the last season became strange and kind of like a fantasy world.

I need the makers of the show to bring back some of the previous characters. For instance, Marco is a teacher so why isn't he teaching at Degrassi?? What happened to Page once she lost out on that movie to Manny?? Why not have her come back with a teaching degree and teach Drama at Degrassi?? Alex can be a real estate agent that dates Page. Sean can come back and used his money earned as a military contractor in the Middle East and purchased an auto body shop. Ect.etc. Let's see what's up with Joey and Caitlin.

I’m 45 years old and grew up watching the ORIGINAL Degrassi on PBS in the 80’s! . When I came across The Next Generation by accident, and saw that Snake, Spike, Joey and Caitlin were on it, I got hooked!!

I found degrassi back in middle school on a channel called noggin and started watching it. I also watched other shows on that channel like instant star, radio free roscoe, south of nowhere, and summerland. I felt like I knew drake as well before he became a rapper, and thought he was cool for a character as well as ellie, I thought she was pretty cute for her character.

To me Season 9 of Degrassi Next Generation was the final season, it was never the same when the original characters Spinner, Emma, Manny, Jay, left, along with Sean, Ellie, Ashley, Marco, Paige, Craig, Jimmy, Alex, Liberty, Toby, JT, who were all gone by than, Season 10 onwards was just boring.

Season 12, Season 3 of Next Class, first half of season 11, and ladder half of season 13 were all really good underrated seasons. The rest I agree didn't live to the greatness of the first 9 seasons

@@kfire2567 I'll admit there were a few good characters I always thought Maya And Tori were going to be the next Emma and Manny, I really wish they would kept Tori on the show right through the series even going into Next Class spinoff, Zig another great character, Zig was like the next Sean, Miles was another great character too especially when him and his father were always at each other, I would have love to see Miles and his dad have a big war with each other during Season 14, but like I said Degrassi Next Generation was the best from Season 1-9, Season 10 onwards wasn't that great anymore.

Lauren Collins still looks believably incredible she hasn’t aged 1 bit she’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Jake Epstein still looks like he did way back when they both really took of themselves very nicely also they seem like really nice and down to earth people I miss the episodes being new but it’s nice to still revisit the episodes I related with Paige so much with the trying to figure out my sexuality topic and the being sexually assaulted topic I thank her so much because of her I was able to get through all of those topics through the strength of the character Paige and it helped me in so many ways hello Lauren Collins and Jake Epstein from New Jersey

The way when I was a kid I hated Paige because she looked like this girl from my school and the girl from my school was actually So NICE😭 and I just confused her for Paige. But now as an adult I love Paige for all the drama and heart she brought to the show. Craig just gave me bad expectations for men 😂😂 I’m glad I didn’t find him cute growing up. I was a JT, Peter kind of middleschool girl 😂
