I'd rather the 20 episode range of seasons 1-9 return. Some characters are horribly under utilised in next class (Saad in Season 3, Baaz and Vijay in general even though I don't like them, We also barely got to see Hunter's mental recovery in Season 2, which imo would've been nice to see.)

Andres Gonzalez Well at least they did have a fairytale theme prom and went together, that was so romantic. I love how even Maya' s sister was routing for them. I fee the way the writers are ended them was a great way to show that they agree they will figure things out together and did stay together at the end so the end for season for and then will be them together forever

They've all changed so much throughout their time on Degrassi. I mean when we first met Zoe she was a snobby straight girl. But now she's a hard working, happy, and completely fine with being gay woman. Even with the 10 episode seasons we get to know them so much and it makes it harder to say goodbye. ugh I'm terrified for a new cast but degrassi has rarely let me down since the beginning of the next generation. this cast took a little more time to grow on me but ended up in my heart and i cried watching. thank you guys for everything you put out there and the impact you have on young lives by not glossing over the big stuff.

I don't like how Next Class only has 10 episodes per season instead of the 40-45 episodes seasons 10-13 were having. (Season 14 only had 28 episodes, but that was still plenty.) At least give them the standard 20 episodes. It means less screen time for the actors and therefore a lower episode count and less time to get attached to them, and considering that the previous actors had more screen time and therefore were in each grade longer, this isn't fair in a way to the current actors. Unless they're planning on having them stay after graduating, similar to what they did with the cast all the way back from season one which, admittedly, only had 15 episodes, but still.

If that's the case, just make the students be, say, juniors for four seasons. That's the equivalent of one season from earlier seasons.

The issue with that is they would have to film all of those seasons at the same time because if they try and space it out the actors/actresses will obviously get and look older while trying to play the same, constant age.

Actually, they could film the seasons separately as that's nothing new. For example, Claire was a freshman for seasons 8-9, a sophomore for seasons 10-11, a junior for season 12, and a senior for seasons 13-14. Her actor changed a lot in that time. From seasons 10-13, there were 40-45 episodes per season. So, for example, Claire was a sophomore for about 89 episodes. If they're going to have 10 episodes per season with Next Class, then for someone to be a sophomore for about as many episodes as the previous actors, they would need to be sophomores for nine seasons.

Well if that's how they were gonna do it, they would need to release the seasons closer together, because if you filmed them at 15/16 as sophomores for four seasons and released that at the current pace (which would take 2 years to do) then the next batch of seasons would have them being 17/18 as juniors which makes little sense. Although I think Olivia/Lyle/Ricardo are in their early twenties at this point so I guess that doesn't matter lmao
