It's not the wrong formula at 1:24:00 Degree of freedom of internal hinge is 4 . So when we choose it as a internal hinge we have to add 4 But when we consider it as a joint it has released moment theta1and theta2 so 3 for joint and one for extra released moment and both will give same values

good explanation, but at space frames i think some problem occurs. first of all hinge's unrestraint DOF's is important. for example if hinge's unrestraint DOF is 1 then we add (6-1)x2 DOF's to your formula. we times by 2 because of left and right side of the hinge. and we don't suppose hinges like joints. if the hinge is at the corner then that corner is not a joint. in this case your formula is Dk=6 j - restraint support reactions - m + 2(6-hinge's unrestraint DOF's) note that hinge's not count as joints. imaybe i am wrong bu i want to note this. thanks again your good explanation.
