I live in USA for more than two decades. My experience is that one may have all the skills but the career oriented job will be given to only degree holders or certified personnel. Definitely SKILLS. Degrees are just paper work which is useless these days. SKILLS are much needed & stay with a person forever . Degrees can be obtained with money but skills can't.

Degree means Studies. U must be educated to lead your decisions. Skills gives you money. Because we are suffering with poverty thats why money is our 1st priority, but as a person or as a nation we are going downward by skipping studies. We thick Studies and Skills are oposite to each other, but in reality they r perallal. For me Skills are Hardware while Studies is Software. Skills are body while Studies is soul. They could work perfectly if we use both at the same time.

مجھے انکی باتوں سے اختلاف ہے۔ ڈگری کیلئے کور نالج سیکھانا چاہئیے بہت سا میڈیکل نالج بھی بعد میں استعمال نہیں ہوتا، سٹنفورڈ یونیورسٹی میں بھی یہ بات ہو چکی ہے۔ اگر بچوں کو پانچ سال کے دوران زیادہ سے زیادہ پریکٹیکل ورک سیکھایا جاۓ تو وہ پریکٹیکل فیلڈ میں زیادہ اچھا پرفام کریں گے۔ پاکستانی ڈاکٹرز کی کونسی ریسرچ ہوتی ہے پانچ سال پڑھنے کیبعد بھی گوروں کی گائیڈ لائنز ٹریٹمنٹ کے دوران فالو کرتے ہیں طلبا ہر فیلڈ میں ایگزیم کے بعد بھول جاتے ہیں زبانی کچھ بھی ایکسپلین نہیں کر پاتے۔ اس پہ ریسرچ ہو چکی ہے یہ میرا ذاتی تخیل نہیں ہماری ملٹری اور گورنمنٹ کو چاہئیے لوگوں کو ہر شعبہ میں سکلز بیسڈ اور کور نالج دے کر تنخواہ دینے کے بارے میں پالیسیز بناۓ۔تھیوری کو لمبے عرصے تک پڑھنا ٹائم ضائع کرنے کے مترادف ہے۔ کتنے سٹوڈنٹس کو امتحان پاس کرنے کیبعد کتنے اسباق یاد رہتے ہیں اور بہت نالج پریکٹیکل فیلڈ میں یوز نہیں ہوتا، پاکستان کے سائنٹسٹس کو تھیوری سے ڈیل کرنی چاہئیے۔ اعلٰی تعلیم لوگوں کو ڈیٹ کے پہاڑ کے نیچے دبا رہی ہے لوگ یہ بات کرنا چاہتے ہیں مگر ذکر اپنی ایگو کی وجہ سے کھلے انداز میں بیان کرتے نظر نہیں آتے۔ طلبہ میرا ساتھ دیں تاکہ لوگوں کو سکلز اور پریکٹیکل کام کرنے کا ریوارڈ ( تنخواہ) جلد ملےتاکہ وہ اپنے والدین پہ زیادہ بوجھ نہ بنیں۔ بے روزگاری لوگوں کو غلط کاموں ، مایوسی،میجر ڈپریشن اور ملک کیخلاف جزبات کو پرموٹ کرنے کیطرف راغب کرتا ہے۔ سکلز کا ہی انسان کو ریوارڈ ملتا تھا بعد میں گورے کے نظام نے لوگوں کو اس طرف لگایا تھا مگر آج اس تعلیمی سسٹم میں نقائص پہ یورپ اور امریکہ میں بھی لوگ کھل کر باتیں کرنا شروع ہو گئے ہیں۔
