Dehradun Food Tour, Part 4 l Masala Dosa, Mixed Fruit Cocktail, Butter Pista Biscuit, Cream Roll

In today's episode we welcome you for a ride through Paltan Bazar, one of the busiest marketplaces of Dehradun that also houses some popular street food places. This brief culinary escapade began with Lakshmi Restaurant.
Lakshmi Restaurant is indeed a haven for those seeking an authentic South Indian culinary experience. The star of the menu over here is the Masala Dosa. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and spices. To wash down the bold flavors of the Masala Dosa we indulge in a creamy and refreshing Lassi.
Next stop was Bhasin Rajma Kadhi Chawal. As the name suggests they specialize in the humble combo of plain rice, kadhi and rajma. It's a hearty and wholesome meal that satiates the taste buds and recharges you for a long day ahead.
In need of a refreshing interlude, I make my way to the National Juice House. Their signature Pulpy Mixed Fruit Cocktail offered a burst of fruity goodness and hence it is the bestseller. So if you are a person who likes fruits then don't miss this refreshingly luscious drink.
Next the aroma of freshly baked treats drew us to Sunrise Bakery on Ghosi Gali. I have visited it many times but their bakery treats are still irresistible. Everything is prepared in house and the operations at the workshop starts as early as 2 am in the night. Their butter pista biscuits and atta biscuits are a regular household thing. We tried a few of these with tea that the generous owner got us from his home. Every bite evoked a sense of Nostalgia for Anubhav who is a regular just like other locals.
Our culinary journey reached its sweet climax at Roshan Sweet Shop. The Gulab Jamun and Kala Jamun stole our hearts.
In Paltan Bazar, every street corner tells a story through its flavors, and each vendor contributes to the rich culinary tapestry of Dehradun.

I think it's because of denoising, removing the background noise. He's been here in very loud places. They are always adding English subtitles but not immediately, it's always delayed by like 1-2 month unfortunately.

These Gulab jamun is not Authentic, real and authentic gulab jamun should not be that Soft because Gulab janum mainly made with Chaina and khoya but now days people don’t have gud knowledge about food so shopkeeper made with Maida or powder milk so that Gulab jamun became super soft but that is not real taste of GULAB JAMUN….
