Thank you, everyone, for watching! I decided to go incognito while recording this video to avoid potential sniping from people (it does happen from time to time). This deck went through quite a bit of testing, and sadly, not all of it could end up in the video since I didn't record all of it with my voice. However, the deck proved that it could compete against pretty much any deck type. It can juggle aggro decks around, forcing them to waste dice swapping needlessly, and blast through slower ramp and stall decks. It's all around a decent deck for pretty much any situation. Some of its best match-ups are actually against Hat Guy/Shenhe Swirl decks that are popular right now. HoyoLab Post: www.hoyolab.com/article/22355236

you should also show where you lost the matches in your vids as well so it will be a good analysis on went wrong on the match
@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG Жыл бұрын
I used to do that before (some of my earlier videos have this in them). The biggest issue I had with doing this is viewer retention. Sadly, even if the purpose is to show poor match-ups, most people either don't watch enough of the video to get there, or they only see it as the deck being "weak." I've thought about bringing it back, though. In the defense of this deck, however, after the final version, it swept through the Arena mode undefeated a couple times in a row. Certainly close matches for some, though.

Grt video! Burning esp with dehya + nahida is legit such a strong summoner base that allows insane reaction chaining I've been liking mona over fischl, so mostly the same idea but more pressure on oneshotting a single character with dehya burst or double vape with summons instead of disruption
@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG Жыл бұрын
I prefer Fischl to Mona for two main reasons: 1: Overload jostles the opponent around, often disrupting their combos in unexpected ways and forcing them to expend extra dice to either avoid it or to get back to where they need to. 2: Summon length. Mona's summon only lasts a single turn, so this puts a lot of pressure on her to constantly do something each round. By virtue of that, she becomes the biggest target on the team. It also becomes more important to activate Bloom in these situations. I prefer my Tighnari Deck for having Mona in it, and I bet that deck could still be viable with a bit of an update.
@dexydraws9272 Жыл бұрын
@@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG 1. that's fair 2. I actually go dehya > nahida and bring mona out last and sorta treat mona as like a carry and spam E + NA to apply hydro by R3 so dehya E and burning + mona E both vapes, so the summon duration isn't that much of an issue, plus dehya(mostly if you manage to mull dehya talent) and mona dmg reductions makes mona quite hard to remove. I tried other hydro catalysts but im too attached to mona's quick swap passive lol

I believe the initial plan was to set up for Dehya's burst, knowing that she'd take a point of Piercing Damage. I knew Fischl would survive, so there wasn't too much to be concerned with. The opponent had to push me off of Fischl into Dehya to not die in endphase. Now, I should have just used Dehya's burst immediately after that, but I guess that idea just slipped my mind in the span of a few seconds, haha.
@alets6124 Жыл бұрын
@@SausageGenshinTeapotTCGsorry to not explain, the chicken heal doesn't matter since Deyha would lose HP due to elemental skill if she's 6 HP or above, chicken could have been more useful to fishl, but in that case it was a win matter what so it's not important at the end
@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG Жыл бұрын
@@alets6124 That's exactly why it does matter. Dehya loses the 1 HP that she gains, keeping her at where she is. She had 7HP before the food. She would have had 6HP and drop to 5HP by the time it was my next turn due to Jean's Swirl. if the opponent had something like Tandori Chicken, that could present lethal. However, I ended my turn with her at 8HP. She then drops to 7, where she was from the start. She then is at 6HP by the time it is my turn again, allowing me to do something with her without risking potential lethal from a surprise card (keep in mind that the opponent had more dice at the start, so doing such a thing is very possible). Now, did it matter? No, not really. Would it have mattered if Dehya died? No, not really so long as Fischl got Oz to stick around for end-phase. But thinking about how to avoid losses is often better than thinking about how to win since you can never be too sure as to what the opponent has up their sleeve.

What would be your opinion on a card that would allow you to pick any card from your deck that you have remaining? Would that be too op or interesting
@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG Жыл бұрын
It would certainly be interesting, but also pretty OP. You'd just run it in every deck. Think about how many Equipment Decks just wait for that one piece that they need, like Tenacity. This would just instantly draw it. Would be even more broken were it an Arcane Card (and we all know how Hoyoverse likes to make broken Arcane Cards...)
@aine5762 Жыл бұрын
@@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG i think if there would ever be a card like that they should balance it out by having a very high cost to it instead of it being arcane. At least 4 if not 5 dice, it basically instantly gives you the setup you need. The pros to it being an arcane card would be that it would only be used once per game, but on the other hand it would always be on the starting hand and low cost if i understood the concept right.
@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG Жыл бұрын
@@aine5762 Having high cost cards tend to render them unplayable, sadly. Look at Guardian's Oath. In the era of MMEC and NEC, it was the best counter, but no one played it due to its cost.

@@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG it does, but that's pretty much the only thing that would balance it out a little, wouldn't it? You'd kinda have think whether another card or another action is more valuable in a situation. It would be stupidly op in any other situation

@@aine5762 I think you can get around this by having an additional effect, such as "When you have no card in your hand, Choose any card from your deck." Or "Choose any card from your deck then discard two cards." Something like that.

I guess Dehya is better than xiangling, because it survives send off? If you use her talent maybe more dmg? Great video btw
@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG Жыл бұрын
In this case, yes. The issue in this deck with running Xiangling is that both Guoba and Oz last for two rounds. This means that if both are summoned on R1, then they are both gone on the same round. This removes all of the deck's end-phase damage and leaves you scrambling to get them back all at once, which is a very predictable play. Since Dehya's Skill and Oz have different timings, one going down can be brought up while the other still remains. Or the remaining one can cover a round while the other is down if the dice don't allow. All in all, Dehya allows for rotations to be more flexible with this deck.

this deck is sort of easy to beat and too slow man. You use too little energy gen cards
@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG Жыл бұрын
It does pretty well as it is. It doesn't need to go that fast when it can disrupt the flow of aggro decks. It can deal with other control decks, as with the meta freeze match, and even when it doesn't get its pieces, as again with the meta freeze match, it can still hold its own. As I mention at the end, the biggest downside is that it doesn't have the best main-phase damage outside of bursts, but unless the opponent has well-timed Send Offs, it doesn't really need to.
@escapetherace1943 Жыл бұрын
@@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG I don't really know what the meta is but I have run into freeze with people having send off and it's impossible to beat really. I feel like this deck needs the perfect hand against a competent deck, I played it maybe 15 matches
@SausageGenshinTeapotTCG Жыл бұрын
@@escapetherace1943 Again, the match against the meta freeze deck shows that you do not need a perfect hand to win. In that match, the main pieces to the deck were never drawn. Even with Send Off, the opponent can only use it twice at most. Don't be so aggressive. The deck uses food to weather main-phase damage. Let the summons do the bulk of the work until the opportunity presents itself. Swept the Arena against a multitude of different decks, all at different speeds, a few times.
