Gonna be real, as a dehya haver i find that the doomposting about her has been blown so out of proportion. She's mediocre at best but she's still fun to play and use, and it just feels like the kokomi/yoimiya situation all over again where people spend the entire time up until her release shitting on her because "cant crit/bad damage multipliers/bad kit" and then later on gets an artifact set or some support characters that make them really good and people stop shitting on them. One of the leaked artifact sets for 3.6 looks like it's made for Dehya so I'm excited for that.

Y'all are the best. This type of comment and content is what keeps me returning every now and then and play the game. I pulled for Kuki at her debut at 2.8 and also for Thoma in Yae's debut, at 2.5. I fell in love with each of their character. If you play since that time you know the bashing was real over them. Went absent from the game from 3.0 to 3.4 and now I decided to raise Collei. I often repeat to myself that I wish I had never heard about the community, but I guess that is just natural to everything: that the good stuff is always something that you have to search amidst a lot of bad stuff.

Tbh, I really like her for exploration. Her passive boosts speed for whole party, she is tall (better for climbing, swimming and running), pyro is very useful for puzzles and wood shields, claymore for rock/ice shields and ores, self heal. And since I'm still very low AR, her damage is not bad in the slightest. She actually destroys any overworld group of enemies with E -> NA -> E, and a full unboosted Q takes half the health of any boss.

You would die in the Abyss face tanking everything like this, but if we treat her like Hydro Kokomi, albeit still preferring a secondary healer for comfort, she can tank a lot of damage, and repeatedly blast with Ocean Hued Clam from off field. Don’t get me wrong, she’s still one of the five stars of all time, but this feels like it might make her viable at C1/2 when she gets better HP scaling and skill coverage.

I've been hoping for the longest time that Genshin would add a "Survive as long as you can" type of end game content. If that ever happens, Dehya is literally top tier. But, it hasn't, so she's still a flaming spitball at the bottom of a trashcan.

honestly i feel like dehya is one of the best chars a new player can have. she relatively cheap to build, she looks cool is pyro and has alot of survivability. sure she wont clear abyss as fast as others. but no new player has the equipment for that anyways

Haha I was going to try this with more bosses but many of them have annoying mechanics like elemental shields, are too tanky, knock you back too much, etc... The Jadeplume Terrorshroom was actually the only one I could properly AFK because his arena has walls!

I did this too and its really fun. It's super satisfying with the bell. The shield is like 17k when she had that much hp. I also like to pair Noelle for that passive shield no one ever uses, and Barbara for the just incase resurrection. Ajadaha had trouble getting through all that.
