Dehydrating Rose Hips

We found some rose hips on the property and decided to store them - just for fun!

It is ideal to harvest them after at least 1 frost to. Vitamin C powerhouse right there.

Great for tea! I wonder if you don't have to dry them much further to prevent mold, though... 🤔 How long did yours last?

Once dehydrated…if you were going to make a syrup with it (I want to add it to elderberry), can I add it to the pot whole or would I need to chop or blend it up some beforehand?
