I'm a gentleman recently getting into skincare and the reasons why I watch CYoung for skincare tips and recommendations. 1) she put timestamps and subtitles in her videos 2) trusted actual make-up professional working in Korea so she knows what really works unlike 'influencers' on tiktok 3) 100% honest non-sponsored reviews 4) videos are interactive and not boring 5) she is pretty haha I just found your channel today btw😁

I do double cleanse twice a week because this way it feels much more comfortable and actually needed or when I wear spf/makeup. As for the eye creams, I have pretty sensitive eyes and I noticed that regular moisturizers sting my eyes a little bit but I guess eye creams are formulated different enough to not cause the stinging. So if your eyes are sensitive definitely eye creams are a must
@moonbyeol91303 ай бұрын
Honestly the best thing for my sensitive eye area is vaseline. Thick layer for the night, for the day I put lighter layer and after like 30 minutes I tap it lightly with paper towel to take off the excess so I don't look too shiny. If my eye area is in good condition I skip vaseline during day time, but it's a must for night.
@CYounginyou3 ай бұрын
If you have sensitive skin, it's important to find a product that fits well, whether it's eye cream or cream. If you don't moisturize, your skin becomes more sensitive. If you find something that fits you, apply it consistently, all good👍 Vaseline is a good way, too! I'll give it a try. Thank you for the tip.💕

Hi, I only double cleanse when I wear sunscreen and cushion foundation. If no makeup or sunscreen I only use a foaming cleanser. I never step out or go to sleep without a good eye cream❤❤❤
@eladrio3 ай бұрын
I double cleanse everyday and have never had any issues. If you wear water resistant sunscreen and/or make up you need to double cleanse. The thing is you need to use the right products. I’m also on tretinoin which sensitizes the skin even more, and so far no complaints with the double cleansing method. In fact cleansing is very important, if you don’t cleanse your skin properly a lot of issues can arise.

about eye creams - i agree that a regular moisturiser is just as good as any eye cream for what most people use it for - but if youre like me and have thin and dry skin around the eyes that is prone to "no-skinbarriering" then you should try using vaseline during the night - thats the only thing that i found helps me

7:12 sometimes I wish there was a brand that let us choose the main actives in our serums/ toners/ moisturizers (and the ones we want to avoid)! Each of the ingredients that give me nice results come in different products (I think the brands are just watching me and purposely making it to grab my money) 🫠🥲🥲 7:15 I’d love if you could review more serums/ ampoules (specially some that, maybe, the internet doesn’t talk about as much)!
@dodgek52703 ай бұрын
It is far more complicated than that. If companies were to make a profit, they would have already done so.
@CYounginyou3 ай бұрын
😂 Even if this is the right ingredient for me, the results vary depending on how the company made it, such as the combination, so I think there are too many cases. I'll try harder and use it in various ways and post a review. Eventually we need somebody to buy it and human experiment it!😁

I do use Gentle gel cleansers Daily but thinking of only using cleansing oil 30 or 50 times how Many times i rinse i will Break out for sure, my two friends break out by using wrong cleansing blam, they rinsed many times used cleansing foam or gels but when they used one cleanser or used different oil cleanser they stopped breaking out 90 present. Maybe some people will tolerate oil cleanser as only cleanser but many oil cleanser doesn’t emulsify well they leave residue. Main think is try to use one gentle

I double cleanse bc I feel like each of the 2 steps cleanse different layers of my skin… When I just use a water based cleanser it feels like trying to clean inside of a drawer, but without opening the drawer and, when I just use micellar water (or cleansing oil), it feels like trying to wipe a pair of shoes that needed to be washed. Since I discovered French Pharmacy micellar waters and J-Beauty/ K-beauty Cleansing oils, I have to use at least one of these before my water based cleanser, even though my skin is not oily (but it’s not sensitive either, so I wonder if it has something to do with that and if anyone with sensitive skin has a testimonial to share)!
@CYounginyou3 ай бұрын
So you're using Micellar Water or Cleansing Oil (first), and then Cleansing Foam (secondary), right? I recommend using Micellar Water as a second cleanser because it doesn't have to be washed off (Bioderma) And 'Don't double cleanse' is not only for a sensitive skin, but for all skintypes --- dry, oily, acne-prone and combo.
