Man, you came really close at 8:00. A couple more ticks and you'd be a goner. Good guide. I find it rather silly from a design point to make it this difficult for a Deino player to want to change locations in order to encounter more players to fight/kill...in a PvP game... I mean players can already get to the river delta if they start in the swamp, or swim down from the other lake so it's not like you're making it safer for other non Deino players. Maybe I'm missing something.

Yeah it was a close one! That trip was actually the first time I did it, I just used old footage of a video that hasn't gone out yet (because surprise surprise surprise, cannis), so I was often checking the map and didn't walk in a perfectly straight line which could've bought me more time. But yeah I don't understand the North Lake spawn point, they make it so hard for you to get out almost like they don't want you to lmao

Alternatively you can just swim the entire length of the river no problem. Just keep to side at waterfalls.

I don't think you can go down the large waterfall, I tried it before and couldn't find a safe path that goes all the way down
