Blackshirt- D You make it sound as though Green would simply dust Deion and run away from him. But according to what times we have for both of them, it's pretty close. It would appear at their peaks, Green was right around .2 seconds faster than Deion in regard to 40 yard and 100 yard times. So something more like a photo finish with Green ever so slightly taking a clear enough lead to establish a winner. But yeah, Darrell Green could flat burn and had stamina for days.

Watch the clips. He was playing like a safety, though he had the hands of a WR and ran like a RB/HB. He knew how the QB threw and how the WR played. He covered the top WR and would shut him down, what he lacked in bulk and tackling he made up in speed they didn't even show his pass deflection stats. He could get away with not playing tight cause he'd pick off or deflect it. Too bad Atlanta didn't have an offense plugg that defense with they're offense now oh man 19-0 heck they'd go 40-0 before losing. Dion wouldn't of allowed that comeback back two seasons ago.

his years in SF he was the most dominant defensive player in the NFL, it was crazy how he influenced a game. Those were his best years, he was so good, a CB has never been better than that.

Sanders is an example of a high profile loud mouth player who usually backed up what he said but has also done a great job of growing as a person through the years. These are some fantastic highlights. 1996 was a very interesting and in some respects probably one of the hardest years for him as he spent a LOT of time at WR and CB to the point that i've seen some games from that season where he looks totally wiped out on the sidelines.

Typical of white guys to refer to talkative Black men as loudmouths, a derogatory reference when it comes from Caucasians. Just because Deon didn't walk around speechless and humbly quiet, like most white, average-playing footballers are, doesn't mean he should be insulted because he ain;t like them. We are not the same, as white ppl like to say about both races. Its ben proven that white children like Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood for its laid back lessons, while Black children like Electric Company for its quick-paced lessons and energy. Y'all invented symphony music, with its rigid, stick to the script music style. We invented Jazz, with its zig-zagging rhythms and improvisation on the spot music style. Deon is Jazz. White footballers are Symphonies.

2 of the things I love most about Prime is that Bobby Bowden said that he's the hardest working player he ever coached and that he loves being a teammate! I hope that all the people that thought he was selfish a bad teammate and didn't tackle have learned that those things were never true!
