Star Wars: The Old Republic exists and has hundreds of hours of story content with no typical MMO grinding. You can just play that game as a singleplayer story game and it will be just as amazing as a normal single player story game imo. And when you finish the story, you can just either stop playing until more story comes or do another story with another class, it's prob the best Star Wars RPG game out there right now

most of it belongs to common asset collections belonging to SW in general... The vast majority comes from the 70s films, while a few have been remade or "modernized" through sound treatment for these games. I find it really bizarre to see someone making such a comment. If you dive deep into SW games you'll find most of these sounds in way older games than BF

If you do, the Pc MSFT Gamepass is a good option. $12 for a month (apparently 1st 14 days for $1) and it does have a lot of other good games to fill out a month or 2 sub like Space Engineers and Senua 2. Also some other not so great games it can let you cheaply satisfy curiosity for, MW3 just added though it took about as long to download/install as to finish that disaster of a campaign. I hadn’t wanted to believe it could be as bad as the trash talk but I was wrong, haha.

This is how beautiful a game can be when it's made with genuine interest and passion. Video games are pieces of interactive art. For example if you compare a painting from Walmart and a painting from Van Gogh you can immediately see and feel the difference. You hang up the Walmart painting in the bathroom to be thrown away or changed eventually, but you put the van gogh in a museum to be treasured for all time. Today's gaming market is littered with forgettable cash grabs. But mods truly shine and give us hope. What I want in an Open World Star Wars RPG: 1. Be able to choose normal or force sensitive trait. (Pros and cons for both ofc) 2. Be able to choose different races WITH customization. 3. Wield any weapon no matter if you're force sensitive or not. (Depending on your choices, you're proficient in different things) 4. Same ship system as in Starfield but landing and travelling planets/system should be seamless like No Man Sky. 5. Be able to equip any gear you find on enemies. Kill a stormtrooper and you can wear his armor as a disguise. (Be careful how you kill him as blasterfire or lightsaber cuts would show)

@@seanreed6831 Oh it is possible, most of, if not all of his preferences have been done already. The only one I am unsure of is the persistent armor/gear meta. Though that could be easily done hitman style, where the only "clean" gear/disguise you can use is one taken down by sneak attack/hand to hand. Everything else would show damage and raise suspicion, or just fail as a disguise and simply be armor.

I really like this. The only question I have is, can we use our own combat balancing mod? That's the only thing that I didn't like in V4. I don't want sponges, but if people are wearing armour I don't think they should be one shot either.

@@Xariann Okay so I would definitely not download another combat balancing mod because then you'd lose the armor hierarchy balance and alot of the npcs would lose their outfits. its baked into Genesis at this point what I would do is install some type of mod that just lets you control the amount of damage YOU do. so for example, you can configure it so you do -30% damage. I believe the game actually has the option to do this now so I would try messing with that in the settings first

As this is a modlist which uses Wabbajack as an installer, it will most assuredly never go to Xbox or any other console. However, you could possibly beg for the patches to be uploaded to allow for a close experience. IIRC, this modlist takes up 200-300GB of Storage Data.

For me the worst part of Starfield is the story, dialogue, and characters. It was very bland and "modern". I was hoping it would feel more like a classic science fiction adventure inspired by Star Wars and potentially other classic stories from the genre. So, I would love to see passionate Star Wars fans replace that bland Bethesda world with one we have all loved collectively for almost 50 years. Excited to see where this goes!

The absolute genius of Todd is so evident now. He specifically keeps Emil as lead writer as a way to enforce modders to make their own stories. You have a shell of a game and now you can do what you like. Its rather brilliant IMO.
