Shifting Weather

As a bow/dagger, I can say with 100% confidence that shit is looking rough atm 😂 not bad by any means and is still extremely viable especially if played well but man.. hard to really explain unless you also play the class lol

People saying spear isn’t op is because they’re playing the class wrong and or don’t want it nerfed 😂 the fact that a spear can do 25k damage with Javelin Surge, kill you, and get another free reset is insane. Large scale or small scale, their damage output is on par with bow/staff. The damage numbers don’t lie in war games 💀 and yes bow/staff does more dmg than a bow/dagger.

@@DeityVengy spear is not op but is sure is right up there with the bows flashers and xbow bombers. You just got used to only having to deal with flash and spin. A new dmg source is in and players will have to learn to deal with it. Smae thing can be said about xbow that can MELT a full stacked tank with 29k hp in 3 seconds. Or 10 flashes thay can kill 10 ppl at once.

@@djdrakespy "a new dmg source is in" brother it is a melee weapon that has more range and burst than xbow and is immune to ranged evasion. it would be the equivalent of bow doing melee dmg

@@DeityVengy this is it. I get it that spear is supposed to be a counter to the bow/staff meta. but it got to the point that you have to spec to spear in order to be competitive in war games. it has to many pluses without any obvious minuses

not to mention, since bow/staff players go for ranged/magic evasion then 600 melee hit is enough for spear/dagger build as long as you choose the proper targets. and that opens ways for builds like 60str 70dex 30per that don't miss and hit like a truck. and even then if you encounter melee evasion focused raid you still can still switch to 1300+ mhit spec and do enough damage. this spear meta is bs

ive been saying for 2 months now that the devs want longbow to be a healing weapon. constant nerfs, buffing healing and support capabilities. its rough for bow dagger players. Main reason why I swapped to spear dagger. I get more kills with less effort in PVP then i ever did with bow dagger

Yes, bow is a support weapon. If you’re after “kills” only, then you’re better off with other weapons.

I must ask you bro. What are good stats atm? Dex, str, per? Many ppl switched to endurance and its difficult for me to kill ppl ... I am thinking about going bow staff instead of bow dagger just bcs I am dissappointed with dmg.

@@redriverlures 60 perception is usually only mandatory thing nowadays and then 50 str. depends on ur total stats more. like u wanna be 1200+ hit and 1200+ evasion

@DeityVengy i have 60 str, 40 dex and 60 per. 4200cp. I watched your video. Even with tevent you can't do much dmg. Truth is, bow dagger is not good anymore in this meta

i dont know how u make a bow, the coolest weapon in any game really a healing weapon. I like bow dagger so much, event got tevent and i cry seeing it go to shit like this. The whole weapon combination its useless at this point cuz u re really forced to play smth else if u wanna perform well

@@croosmi91 it's struggling. there is no reason to play bow/dagger over spear/dagger right now besides your wallet. spear/dagger is better in arena, better in 1v1, better in pvp events, better in large-scale/siege, and better in PvE. kinda sad

The big thing about bow is flahwaves and lots of them. You didn’t flash wave once with your team. Just randomly throw them here and there solo and you are shooting all your skills at tanks. Of course that’s going to feel bad. Feud dps.

@@DeityVengy Hmm, I still think flashwave is much better, especially when groups use it. Absolutely dominates in siege. I think spear was necessary to try and counter the flashwave meta. Flashwave even after the nerf still dominates in ZvZ. You don't think so? 10+ Flashwaves coming at you still melts everybody lol. Sure Spear can absolutely melt the ranged DPS, but again, flashwave melts everybody like usual.

Maybe changing your priority targets might help if anything as a bow/dagger user. I still think its exceptional.

@@LeagueofLegends24 the more geared and competitive your server is, the less relevant flashwave is. it's kinda the opposite of what u described lol. flashwave spam only melts other ranged DPS while spear melts all. you need 2.2k+ melee evasion to have a chance at surviving a single geared spear player's burst. while anyone with decent gear can survive and heal through multiple flashwaves. spear burst tech is just not known or popular yet on other servers. every guild on xeroth is starting to utilize it

Saying that bow is worst in large scale is simply just cap. Yeah, spear can do insane shit with good setup DFA and javelin inferno lightning spam, but you need to have so much coordination and they need to be clumped together pretty tight. Bow has flashwave and tornado which are some of the most broken large scale abilities and you can off heal. I play bow dagger in large scale and spear dagger in small scale atm. I have played spear in large scale but it is way higher skill cap and needs way more conditions to outperform the bow in large scale.

i never said its the worst in large scale lol. bow/dagger specifically is pretty weak in boonstone fights in this meta. bow/staff and spear/dagger outperforms it in every regard. a weapon can be high skill cap but low skill floor at the same time. i played a spear/dagger's account yesterday for their boonstone fight and its really not that hard tbh. just stating the reality

When we first booted up this game and the developers keep doubling down, they do not want longboat. To be a main weapon, everyone keeps complaining. That longbo is the "-un". Best weapon in the game. And that simply is not true, everybody has gear? Everyone's gotten tougher, people have gotten their traits were smarter. The game's been out for 3 months People know what they're doing. This simplest counter too long vote is to just not be in a group, and that's not hard to do. Even in large-scale, pvp and across-the-board Bo has been losing damage time and time and time and time again, the new mastery system doubled Downs. On this further, the only thing vogue got was an increased range in a revamp to one of his defensive trades. It's not a main damage dealing weapon if you're holding out for a bow to be a main damage dealing weapon switch, you're better off on literally any other weapon, for fuck's sake, they just made healers damage dealers now
