These queens don’t make enough money before the show to make these extravagant costumes for every challenge. Plus it shows you don’t have to have the most expensive glamorous outfits to get cast on the show. I’m sure now that she has the gigs and the visibility, she’ll slay on all stars with her new coin.

For those that critiqued Deja's runways... I don't mean to sound insensitive but I don't think this girl comes from money. She had to make do with spending money on specific garments, and pretty much hand-made all of the rest. Like, do you know how many outfits a queen has had to take with her for this season alone? For a "small town girl" she really did well and was a true joy to watch. Her looks were sometimes lacking but that does not diminish her talent and appeal. Hope she gets the chance to join a tour or headline somewhere with other Ru girls. As a self proclaimed "rooter" she would be a great host for a showcase or something similar. She has everything to be proud of. She gave it her best and had a blast doing so which is awesome.

I would say looks weren’t up to the level. Majority of challenges and performances were great actually. I’m not sure where you base your general consensus on that her performances were lacking when she had pretty strong results (Lipsync Fallin’, the super trailer, her spring look and she was pretty good at the Save a Queen challenge, decent in Daytona Wind, great in the 60’s retro group, great panelist, ONLY SNATCH GAME WINNER/Safe, fierce Moulin Ru performance) Performance not up to level where 🤔🤔🤔

Omg, up until the age of 14, me and Deja had the same life. My father was exactly the same. He hated gay people and disliked me and tried to beat the 'gay' out of me. We were so poor we lived in thrift store clothes and ate basic foods that we could afford to cook. My mum also had mental health problems and didn't really have the power to save me from my dad, even though she tried. I liked Deja on the show, but knowing these similarities now, I love her!
