In his case the word "genius" isn't an overstatement. There's something unique about him which is difficult to describe. Like he played on a playground he seemed effortless and he did it against the best. In 1991 Savicevic was the best footballer in Europe, he should have won the Ballon d'Or. I still remember his one man show against Man United in the European Super Cup final. He made the manchunians look ridiculous. But he missed all of his chances. He was more of an artist than a sportsman.

Even while he played in Red Star it was known, this dude doesn't show up most of the time and you have a player less on the field because he was not interested in working when not having the ball. But...when he does show up, he could decide the game with couple of moves and was looking like the best player on the planet no matter who was against him.
