Dk, why do we have so much faith in Herbig's ability to be an all-around edge despite his size, but no matter what Austin does, fans believe he's too small to be WR 2? Throughout his college career and when given the chance with the Steelers, he's made plays. Wouldn't getting a top flight WR change the offense and pressure Fields to feed that player. I personally like not having the diva drama. Just get the ball to whoever is open and no one's pouting. Thanks DK. I love your show.

@GetnBandAnyMinNow I agree. But that is the question that some people have about him. Some see Herbig as a pass rush " gimic" guy that doesn't have the girth to hold off a 300 + lb OT. Is it true? I don't know, but most fans are willing to give him a shot. All I'm saying is just like Herbig, Austin has done a lot with limited chances, so why is it so easy to overlook him because of size. I remember Sauce Gardener said Calvin was the hardest WR he had to cover his senior year. Give him the shot before you invest millions and draft capital. There was a time when there was no AB. It was Antonio Brown a young promising WR that was unproven with question marks. I'm no saying CA will be another AB but that just it. We have no idea what his ceiling is. He's making plays so give him a shot. How many bigger named WR's had less than 4 for 95 and a TD last week? I'm sure a quite a few that got paid a whole lot more.

I feel he earned more WR#2 reps after the home opener. Maybe he surpassed VJ on the depth chart and is our second WR option after GP14

Colts D is ranked 31st vs the run we should be able to take advantage of that I would think

It's a little skewed with how many runs they've seen overall to be fair. Packers were protecting Willis and ran the ball 53 times. Texans ran the ball 40 times protecting a lead. I think it says something that's been the strategy employed and that it's worked, but I also don't think they'll be the second worst run defense in the league by year's end.

Giving up a little early is understandable against guys like Robinson and Dobbins (I'm a huge fan from college, it's great I can root for him not in a Ravens uniform, hope he stays healthy this year.) If JT gets a 15 yard carry in the first quarter and ends up with less than 4 a carry for the game I'll feel really about the performance, winning more importantly than anything.

Matt Williamson refers to Herbig as a “fastball off the edge” and had expressed publicly great concern for his ability to set the edge against OLinemen who outweigh him by 50 or more pounds. I share those concerns. It’s not that I have seen him struggle, but I haven’t seen him turning everything in either. Not saying he can’t do it. Saying I don’t know.

Herbig reminds me of Robert Mathis who was also "too small" to play the run. I think his best season was 19.5 sacks and he finished with like 120 for his career.

I think the key to getting the running game out of the plan is if we can get the offense humming first. If the offense can get off to a fast start then taking taylor our the game will happen. I think you need the offense to at least hit fgs on their first 3 drives to make the colts nervous AND put pressure on the Colts. If we can get a few fgs early and then a Td b4 the half like 16-0, 16-7, or 16- 10 with us getting the ball back would help alot. If we can get 3 tds like we almost got with Najee at the end then it would be the way to take the run out of the game. If the steelers get a lead coming out of halftime I think the defense will clamp down on the running game of the Colts.

Still waiting for the O line to be fully up to strength. Not happy with the left side AT ALL… and that includes Moore. I want to see Fautanu Daniels Frazier Seumalu and Jones.
