Its nice how close dej has become with all the boys the last few years. This is how it always should have been anyway but seeing him mature so much that he can now have a laugh and be part of the group who all genuinly like him and have a laugh with everyone has been so nice watch. Than before i think he had a chip on his shoulder and thought any joke was a dig at him. Rather than see it as banter. If this actually becomes a video, I think you should have people actually rate all of you. Otherwise you are not looking at an actual ranking of how people perceive you, you are just looking at how many people think that a certain member is the best sidemen. (As Simon said, “Tobi would be last cause many would put him middle”) Instead you could do something like this: Rank everyone from 1st to 7th, number one gets +3 and number seven gets -3. 2nd gets +2 and 6th gets -2. 3rd gets +1 and 5th gets -1, 4th gets 0. After you get all the votes you sum up everyone’s points and you get an accurate representation of what the mean viewer ranking looks like. It’d be more work but it would give much more significant results.

It's not more work. It's just different numbers on your spreadsheet fotmulae. Literally the exact same amount of work for both. As long as your spreadsheet allows negative coefficient values within formulae. (Which most do) I'm not saying they're both not a lot of work. I'm saying they're both exactly the same amount of work tho xD

@@swaggerkhanplays Brother, they are definitely not the same amount of work. While it’s true that the calculation takes the same. The same cannot be said for getting the results. It is much easier to ask and get the results of who their favourite is to a 1000 people, you could do that with a very simple poll anywhere, than it is to ask to rank all 7 of them to the same 1000 people. It would also be 6 times more inputs in the spreadsheet. Hence why that’s more work.

@@madting2984bro.. no. You're getting it mixed up. Or maybe I am. But from what I understand, both processes involve ranking each of the sidemen from 1 to 7 for each surveyee. How else does it make sense? Asking each person to just vote for their one favourite sideman is a different metric altogether and wouldn't yield the results to be perceived. That would just bring out the most favourite sideman. Not a tier list. And I don't think Deji and Simon meant it that way. In the current ways, it's the same amount of inputs in both cases (7 per surveyee) and the only difference between the first way (scored 1 to 7) and second (scored -3 to 3) is that one is absolute value (skewed) and the other has the standard deviation calculated so as to account for variance from the median. Correct me if I'm wrong.
