Arslan and Knee both retracted their statements and just said they have to get better at the game. Tekken 8 is the first tekken that’s actually very different in a long time, and their defensive playstyles aren’t as strong in this aggressive game. Not to mention it’s the first Tekken game that was released worldwide at the same time without any updates/arcade releases before release so it’s the first Tekken ever that they couldn’t have an arcade release to balance the game before worldwide release like it used to be. They were probably just salty that instead of both of them always coming 1st in tournaments they now come 2nd at best. But you don’t see other veteran players like Book, AK, Rangchu, JDCR etc. complaining at all. They’re legends but Arslan and Knee have always been the most emotional/complaining guys in the scene tbh
