I'm sure diaboro Ace should have deleted Paildramon when the token was played at 8:11 and he also missed the EX06 Diaboro effect at start of Main Besides ,this makes no differece in the result but Paladin mode effect cannot make it unsuspend when returning a token because it dissappears before going into bottom deck meaning the condition is not fullfilled

When tokens are returned to the hand/deck/security etc. They do disappear, but they are considered to fulfil the conditions for effects which trigger when they return to those locations. The only effects Tokens don't trigger are those which care about the size of a location increasing/decreasing. Source: Comprehensive Rules Manual

Deleting paildramon would have triggered the delay effect of the option that makes paildramon evolve iirc

@@FireShadow210 Really? I remember that the token ruling was that if it needs to go X to do Y it won't happen because it needs to do exactly X and it can't because it dissappears. Althought the QA example was with an effect that adds to the hand but it should be the same.

@@DreadIsmaBen 4-19-2-4. If an effect has a condition such as deletion, trashing, returning to the hand, returning to the deck, or placing in the security stack, then a token is affected by such an effect that would place it in these areas, the condition is considered fulfilled even though the token isn't actually placed in any of those areas. That's from the comp rules

At 8:42 why didn't the BT17 Diaboromon switch the attack target to one of the tokens? It would've stolen 3 memory by the token being deleted over the Paildramon and made it so the Paladin mode couldn't attack to finish. Also, Armageddemon BT5 would've helped in that case too. Regardless, very good match! :D

Still to slow for paladin, and it still can be play around you just need play one stuck digimon more better uses digimon with protection for source strip or deck bottom.

So the diaboro player actually had game and kinda blundered it. SoM make a token, Ace triggers, and then you would have forced the delay option because dragon mode switch would have been ineffective. Then you proceed as normal, dedigivolve the ace with the stack play and then go into Armageddon on top of the other ex6 diaboro. Delete the dragon mode gg.
