I hate how people forget he was moved to the bench so they could see how to get bench scoring between him and Reaves…. Reaves has more value, is less of a need on lakers, can’t shoot, inconsistent, and doesn’t play defense….. contracts are close in number and DLO is more valuable trade Reaves and give up less!! KEEP DLO

I like reaves game n I think he is a great scoring spark plug but I agree with this statement we neeex the wing defender and need to keep the better shooter cause him n DLo are both inconsistent

It's a dumb trade period. If he was an aggressive scoring/defensive wing I would say it's a good trade option. He is smooth and silky but not a high percentage scorer. We need a defensive presence beneath and near the basket to get rebounds and put backs. Why does anyone think he can move the needle for the Lakers. Great wing players rule the NBA. Lakers should wait until the buyout market and find someone 6' 8" or 6'9" who can dominate other players defensively and also make 3 to 5 threes per game. It's really that simple.

The same reasoning can be used with Austin Reaves: a huge regression since last year and this summer. Slumped and is constantly attached by opposing teams. A starting team of DLo, DMurray, Vando, LeBron, and AD would have a lot of fire power and defense.

The Atlanta Hawks is NOT taking Austin Reeves and D'Angelo Russell. A trade is involves getting assets that improve what someone else already has. How does this trade help the Hawks? The Hawks doesn't need drafts. The Hawks have enough of those lol.

Even if it does, this won’t move the needle to make them a championship team. Will this get them to the finals over the Nuggets? If not, no use making this trade. It will be either a lateral move or they’ll regress. Plus DjM’s production will dip with a LeBron and AD led team so it’s illogical to think he’s going to average the same numbers now

I think this team as constructed can make the WCF, they just need a solid 3rd guard. Dennis, caruso, or tyus jones would make a huge difference in this team.

@@edgardls95 agreed. They don’t need a big name, that’s what they miss in Schroeder. But they some how went on a tear when they were playing those in season tournament games so there’s something there. Getting a third guard, playing better defense, fewer turnovers, and better defense will get them back to that place they were at last year

AR still has a lot to prove. Outside of a handful of games this year, he hasn’t been that impressive. I fear we may have another THT or Kuz situation on our hands. DLo is playing like he has something to prove and I think he has proven it. Call me sentimental but I feel for the kid 😂 I don’t wanna see either of them go tbh…On paper this team should be a top seed in the west, not fighting for the play-in. Fire Darvin Ham ! #CookedHam 😅

Dlow point Murray 2 guard 3 Vanderbilt 4 Bron 5 AD is a fire line up! Reeves isn’t a starter and needs to be traded! He’s been found out and flopping ain’t cutting it anymore. Why give up a higher scorer which is dlow smh

@DMAC_LA DLO is not the issue he was the reason we made that stretch last yr. Yes he’s a target on defense but he can offset that by causing them to play defense on the flip side Murray is more inconsistent than dlo an will not be able to play make as dlo . It’s the lineup that hinders the team an injuries. Defense does win games true last yr with dlo we was a top defensive team. Stop playing cam in big mins an prince ,we need them off the bench to switch up the momentum. Stop starting reeves again we need him coming off the bench still getting 25-30 mins that’s what got us here. We starting dlo , reeves a cam or prince with bron an ad not it..

My dream scenario is Murray is a better player then Reaves, can probably get deal done with just reaves JHS and max… and still trade Dlo Rui and 1st rounder for Jerami grant, and I would try to add our injured heat guard for Thybull. So adding Grant Murray and Thybull. Like I said my dream scenario lol

@@yeeluvspizza yes possibly we would have Murray, mays and Lebron but also looking for a player in buyout market like Lowry. But just the athleticism with Grant Murray and Thybull being one of the best defenders in the league. But you raised a valid point.

It doesn't matter what team LeBum goes to, he is forever needing help! What I don't get is that the league is always bailing him out! Can't wait for LeDinosaur to retire! I have never seen anything like this - the Fakers with an old worn out engine at the helm! Instead of sending it to the junkyard, they keep putting new tires on it like that's going to solve the problem! The Fakers are better off without LeDrama but he refuses to go quietly into the night! AD made a huge mistake teaming up with LeGactus - destroyer of basketball careers! Someone need to ask AD what's it like to be the sidekick to an over the hill Batman!

RUSSELL is not a defensive player. Sadly, he should of been traded since last year. Period!. RUSSELL is a promising bench player at best. What does the Lakers needs?. Two solid starting backcourt duo that knows they role and can execute on the court. RUSSELL is not a starting backcourt player. Either a PG or shooting guard. He's not the one that the Lakers needs to start, when games are on the line. REAVES and GABE VINCENT must be traded ASAP!. They all bench players.
