i was playing bass in the band country memories in lacrosse wi when Deke brought our guitar player Gino King, his old double neck mosrite guitar Deke found in Colorado. it was A guitar little jimmy dickens had bought for Gino when they played together... He sat in with our band for several songs and him and Gino put on an amazing display of guitar picking i feel blessed to have witnessed.

Sooooo close though! Even has the Gretsch logo on the pickguard in the middle, instead of it's usual place near the bracket. It may not be Cliff's guitar but, it's heavily related!

Listen to Willie Phelps DJ jamboree and Yes siree they both feature a young Cliff Gallup on guitar amazing guitar tracks Willie Phelps wasn't my grandfather they were both from Norfolk Virginia Cliff was in my grandfather's band and he also used his guitar playing for most of his records
