Spinner comes off as such a hypocrite it’s hard to take him seriously. He calls Deku a murderer despite being directly involved in Japan’s largest terrorist activity. He talks about how being a heteromorph made him a shut in, yet he called Tentacole “gross” when he revealed his true self. Even now he refers to Mezo with a racial slur, “octopus.” Spinner and Himeko have an extreme sense of “rules for thee, not for me” mentality. They base their entire reason for being villains on certain circumstances, yet they tend to not care when they impose those same circumstances on others.

Imposing the cirmcumstances on others that one went through is quite common though, so not bad writing, as a common reason for real life murderers is "I had a bad life, so I'll ruin or end yours".

That's a problem I've had with the story, they should have become 2-A way earlier, I believe after the final war they should have been class 3-A. The Big 3 should have graduated by now, we know after they graduate they'll be offical heroes but how exactly? What is the process? I doubt the government will give them a free building, so the use they're own money to buy a building for they're agency then? I feel like with the Big 3 could have actually gotten a understanding of the process of post graduates.

The chapter closes Spinner and at the same time is sad, in conclusion he is the author of my villain academia, narrator, since he will only remember them in his book. With this epilogue he confirms that shigaraki, twice, afo, dabi, shirakumo are definitely dead. only spinner and mr compress are left alive

Deku standing his ground without flinching to Spinner hulking out is a TOP TIER panel. Him telling the doctor not to stop him knowing Spinner wouldn’t hurt him. Either from Spinner being softer than the other villains, or that Spinner couldn’t even if he wanted to. Deku has “embers” and from the peak he was at in the final battle, he’s probably got Spinner outclassed a hundred times over. Also I never really imagined that there WERE surgeries to stop what I assume were strokes that Overhaul used on the boss to put him in the coma but I’m pretty sure they DO exist in our world to certain extents and support gear WOULD help that. And it spares Eri from EVER seeing Overhaul again, lets her move on in her life while the Yakuza boss vows to chew out Overhaul for the rest of his life on how to ACTUALLY be human. I LOVED that decision. Aaaaand Bakugo doesn’t like having a fan club. Fun fact Bakugo. You wanted to be the richest most popular hero? This is your future. Don’t you LOVE people Bakugo? Haha. Don’t have a heart attack please.

@@Kaempfdog In ch.424, Deku replied, "yup," when Bakugo asked if he was quirkless again. I don't recall anyone in the chapters saying Izuku was/is "going to be quirkless." Granted, Deku said that he's "still got that ember for now" after Bakugo started crying, so I was wrong about Deku's ember/embers (whatever) being potentially gone _by that point._ Still, we've yet to see him use it at all since ch.423. And just because the ember(s) is/are there doesn't mean its usable (see All Might). I'll eat my words if we see OFA Full Cowling in a future chapter, though.

The saying “Every villain is a hero in their own story” sums up a lot of Tomura Shigaraki pretty well. To many people, he’s nothing more than a force of evil that needed to be defeated. But to the people left broken, ignored, and oppressed by “hero” society, to the people that truly believed in him and his cause, Tomura was a hero. He crushed a lot of the establishment that mistreated people and gave people a purpose in life. I’m hoping that more people will come to understand this once the book is written. Tomura’s legacy will be strong one.

Here's hoping that book would end up as the opposite of what became of the Meta Liberation War. While I could say that the MLW could also be viewed as a Cautionary Tale, it also felt very preachy... Or so was the perception. Here's hoping that Spinner writes the book in a way that shows the world the unseen tragedy in Shigaraki's life, and everyone else in the League of Villains, including him. If only it was easier for society to understand the League Of Villains. Sure it won't excuse what they have done but while society may not be the cause, they sure didn't help the people and made things so much worse for them by shutting them out.

That's how you end up with copycat terrorist and serial killers, you're going literally towards more villains and psychos appearing. I don't know if you realized that, tho. Everyone is the hero in their mind, even the worst criminals or people you can think of they all in their head thought they were right, people treated others as slaves, murdered whole cities and burned babies alive thinking they were right, validating this is insanity. Shigaraki and AFO in the end achieved nothing besides creating more anger against the misfit and rejected, they only killed and destroyed, you can't change anything through violence and fear.

I will say, the people calling Spinner a "hypocrite" seem to be kind of missing the point. I'm pretty sure that Spinner isn't saying that he's better than Deku or that his actions are more justified in the eyes of society, tbh none of the villains felt that way. The reason why they use such strong words against the heroes is because they actively call themselves "heroes" despite all of the wrongdoing they can take part in. Also, keep in mind that Spinner had no idea at that point that Deku was the only hero that actually wanted to save Shigaraki, so for all he knows, Deku was just the person that killed his friend instead of listening to his cause (which he did, but again, Spinner didn't know that at the time of him saying that). So tbh, if the person who visited him was anyone other than Deku, I think Spinner would be perfectly within reason to call them murderers to a degree.

You have to look at The situation objectively. For in the way deku saved the world, he had to completely destroy tomura shigaraki. He's not knocked out, he's not sent to the shadow realm, he's not locked up, If you can find another explanation for what happened to shigaraki other than saying he was killed, then I will take back what I say. I'm sure that spinner used the term murderer because like he said himself... Shigaraki was his hero. And I'm sure none of us would ever want to call someone who is our hero, a murderer.

Deku had no choice but to kill shiggy and stop afo. He should not be labeled as a murderer. Shiggy couldn't be redeemed because afo had used him. glad to know that deku and spinner had that good talk. Spinner should keep shiggy's legacy alive and carry on his duties. Spinner got his happy ending in the epilogue. I would like to see new characters and a spinoff. We need to know what role that mysterious guy will play later on. As for overhaul he needs to think about how badly he treated eri if he wants redemption and get back to society. Bakugo is already popular with the ladies now

No that’s false; in one of the chapters of MHA, AFO confirms that it wasn’t his own free will that caused him to kill and destroy, it was the quirk decay all for one gave him, so he would be under his control. After AFO died, Shigaraki realised his own actions and died an honourable death.

If you really think about it, Tomura was placed in an impossible situation at such a young age. Imagine if Shiguraki grabbed that old lady's hand. She would be dead in front of the entire public and everyone would be in absolute panic and may start to attack or run away from Shiguraki. I think there will be no sequel, the endings they leave us are open. I also think that the league of villains or its arc should have three arcs. Even the ovehauld stuff is very stale. In addition to spinner, he is applying the same thing as re destro, that is, society does not change no matter how much they are part of the problem, but empathy alone is not enough, that is not the solution. Everything is a cycle that will indirectly begin again

Well for the people wondering why Deku has no fan club, as the business students pointed out, he simply looks plain. While Cami mentioned that Shoto is a major pretty boy (which everyone in MHA agrees) and that Bakugo isn’t bad looking at all when he shuts up.
