The series just gets better and better. I won't spoil anything but you'll get to see soon why some of the fan favourites are who they are~ Can't wait!

The Problem is, that Bakugo was always told, since his childhood, that he is better than everyone else, that he is special. He was never tested up to now. Now for the first time he is facing students better than him. This shattering self-image manifests in his rage and hate. But Midoria never accepted his above status.

There's actually more to Deku than Uraraka thinking it's just "cute". This part gets lost in translation for the English version. First, as mentioned before, the japanese word "Deku" usually refers to a useless person, which originally comes from a wooden doll or puppet. As shown in this episode, Bakugo uses the term to make fun of Midoriya, not just because he has no quirk, but he's also pretty talentless. Last episode, when Uraraka (Gravity Girl) said it sounded "cute", in japanese she was actually saying it sounded like the word "Dekiru", which is a verb that means "can do", or "able to do". When Midoriya faces off against Bakugo at the end of last episode, saying that "Deku is the name of a hero", what's actually being said in japanese is that he's the "Deku" who "can do it", as opposed to the Deku that's useless. ... He probably should be naming himself Dekiru. And Grenade hands is Bakugo. Bakugo Katsuki. Or Katsuki Bakugo for the english version. Midoriya calls him Kacchan as a nickname, adding "chan" onto the first character of his name. Most viewers will refer to him as Bakugo though. Easy to remember. Ba is what the sheep say. Ku is like saying cool in a slangy kind of way. Go is like saying... go... So if you can remember sheep, cool, and go, remembering Bakugo should be easy. ... It may be easier just to remember "Bakugo" though.

Lots of stuff get lost in the translation sadly... That's why I don't enjoy the dub a lot. This and Mineta's lisp. Dumb decision...

This isn't something dubs or subs can really address, even if he watched Japanese subs, the characters would not sit the Viewer(s) down and break these things down, you'd only understand these things if you're already familiar with Japanese naming conventions.

This is definitely a show that, at least for the first 3 seasons, seems to get better and better because it continues to build on what came before. The first season is a great start to the show but it was honestly the second season that cemented the show as one of the greats IMO.
