I never tire of this vid. Watched it multiple times. I miss Letterman and the great band with Paul, Sid, Anton, and the solid Will Lee playing bass for Justin here and nailing it. The Dels were so good and this performance is great. Justin Currie wrote some amazing songs over the years, and this one is a favorite. The power pop vibe, the hooks, the lyrical twist at the end., just a great tune - everything you could want. This vid makes me acutely aware of how much time has passed since this aired and how we need to appreciate that which is special before it’s gone.

Yes, it’s a CD, but it’s in a “long box”. They were the same height as a record, so the stores could keep them both in the same bin.

Not only that, it was for theft prevention. They thought that the CDs would be ripped off otherwise. Eventually they got rid of the "long boxes" when too many people complained that they were wasting paper. They were mostly filled with air.@@drillbittaylor9136

I'm happy to see others picked up on that. CD longboxes were considered wasteful packaging and the industry discontinued them in April 1993, if I remember correctly. I used to cut off the front of the longboxes and "tiled" my doors & walls with them in high school & college.
