That's why Eminem is winning and will always win. He has been doing the comedy-slaughter rhymes since day one. Later on with Nail in the coffin and The Sauce. I feel that's why Em was the best of both worlds. I feel that he would make eunuchs out of a lot of these battle rappers. What does he have to prove though? He started out battle rapping. Battled MC Juice. Got signed to a major. Made movies. Grammy. Createz hit records at a phenomenal rate. He doesn't need to prove a thing to anyone.

Jadlotian I wasn’t trying to school you homie, since you went there explain to me the reference to Jay Z vs Nas who didn’t stand face to face or even in the same room during a battle. If they’re the guys who laid the format for battle rap today, battle rap platforms that Del mentioned and battle rappers that he mentioned, they should be relevant to each other! I’m with you if you said Juice vs Super Natural or Craig G vs Super Natural but Nas vs Jay Z, really?!

cuddy thebrand no disrespect hear me out though the battles you’re referring to are very different than what url(battle rap in general) is today...url especially. KOTD is more of the format you’re referencing but even they are conforming to a more scheme, set up, punch style of battling. So In the Nas vs Jay battle listen to how the first verse of takeover, and ether in its entirety(as far as structures) then listen to someone like Charlie clips and compare the structure of the rhymes...sounds nothing like pre 2001 battle rap(all the names you dropped). Then you got caustic( the guy del says is inspired by hiro) has a multi syilibal style/ tells jokes more than set ups
