Put up index cards with scriptures on your fridge, in the bathroom, beside the bed, anywhere you can see them. Train yourself to always look for Gods word so it can help you when you feel week in the flesh. I will pray for you in Jesus name to help you overcome whatever you are struggling with. Your old friends and some family members will no longer want to be around you, and you should not want to be around them. Don't let ANYONE guilt trip you into thinking you are wrong for loving GOD and putting HIM first in your life. The scripture says "many will hate you for my names sake", but know that Jesus love is the only love that will get us into heaven. Find a person you trust a 'battle buddy' as the Army would say, to help you stay focus and to pray with you and for you. If you have no person, come to KZbin and play the Bible or watch these videos over again. Remember, you can listen to the Bible anywhere you are, there are apps, this platform, and churchs that will deliver bible verses daily and the audiobook of the bible is on here as well. This is why prayers are so important!! Especially a mothers prayer. It’s so powerful!! Never stop praying for your loved one never !! Even if it takes years or decades, those prayers can literally save their soul!!! Amazing testimony!! When I was like 8 I locked myself in the bathroom crying and asking God to change my father who was a huge alcoholic. He was so problematic and it was traumatizing. He use to say “I’ll stop next week” he never could until after that prayer to God. He never drank after that…. I was so shocked. Couldn’t believe it but I praise God. I continue to pray to Him and he answers!! Even when he says No on some things or not yet, I still praise him. Even if it takes years it’s always on His timing.

I just finished watching her story. Im a mother of two boys from atlanta, ga now living in Kentucky, the doctors say i have stage 4 cancer but I believe what God say, Im a survivor. I watched her story and remember all the times I have struggled with homelessness and having to send my boys to my mom to get medical help just recently. I am saved! I fall short sometimes but her story has lifted me up and believing in the healing of Jesus Christ. I started chemo but im supported by my sister and my mother who flew down to help care for me. When i pray on a daily and i ask God will i survive he says, you will, it won't be easy but you can do it. God assured me he is using me as a vessel for others and I pray i will be able to tell my story here one day.

OMG I needed to hear this. My Dad has had an addiction to CRACK COCAINE for 33 years, since I was 20 years old and I am 53 years old now and he is 77 years old. Matter of fact he is in the hospital now because on November 3rd when he got his SSI CHECK, he went off on a binge and took all his money and spent it. He got lost, ran over something, got 2 flat tires, the law came and towed his car and took him to the hospital. Well he's been in there 8 days tomorrow and gets to come home tomorrow. He called and told me he was done with CRACK BECAUSE IT RUINED HIS LIFE. I SAID ALL THIS TO ASK FOR PRAYER FOR HIM AND LIFT HIM UP TO GOD. Awesome testimony! I have people in my family that are addicted to drugs. My brother has been battling for 38 years, my great nephew is 26 and drug addicted, my 19 year old is addicted to marijuana. My granddaughter will soon be 18 and told me she stop using marijuana and pills because she doesn't like the way they make her feel. I am thanking God for all of them to be set free and delivered. I am a native Washingtonian. I have lived around addicts all my life. They were in my family and certainly on my block. Now I am part of a church ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ in the community where I grew up. It's hard witnessing everyday broken lives and broken bodies. I won't get into the horrible things I've been through, we would be here all day. I found your story very inspirational. I'm Catholic and strong in my faith. I feel my faith is stronger than any rehab. My favorite string instrument is the harp. I had also resented God and turned my back on him. Now that was a long time ago. I suffer everyday with MS and I have tried to numb the pain, tried to commit suicide as well. I know that I am here for a reason but I haven't been able to understand what I am going through . I can tell your post is very heartfelt and sincere, I said a prayer in agreement with what you also prayed. I am a recovering addict and from my experience, once I was taken into God's hands everything became better little by little. I started out when I first got sober in a homeless shelter, and now I am living in my own apartment. It feels so good to be able to come home and to be at peace, no more chaos and strife from living my life in a way that is contrary to God's will. He rescued me from myself. The most important part of the human experience is spiritual, and then the physical and everything like that comes after. Have you given your life to Christ?

That sickens and angers me what people did to this woman. As a child I was put through sexual abuse, first by my father, then my mother and her friend. Later, as an adult I was raped by 2 men while intoxicated, and once by a man while I wasn't drinking I was sexually assaulted, groped on my breasts, behind, and between my legs. To this day after all the sexual exploitation I endured I am homosexual, asexual, and struggle with dark sexual thoughts when depressed and unable to sleep. I treat myself and others better than I used to: I respect myself and others and really value boundaries. I am 35 and live only with my boy budgie, Pearl. I do not think I will ever marry. I do not trust people in general, but I especially do not feel comfortable around men. I hope God/Jesus will give me a chance in the future.
