The fact that you had that many close people to you to FaceTime with the news truly warmed my heart! The love radiates out of you two! I saw somebody say she and her fiancé very early in the planning process made a PowerPoint of their “dream wedding” ignoring budget or logistical constraints and then presented to each other and it helped them work backwards to prioritize what was important and get on the same page for the vibe they wanted. Loved that idea!

It was stressful but I still loved it. I was an 2023 bride. Recent bride here. First month enjoy the moment, soak in all the love and positive vibes but definitely start booking engagement locations for pictures of u guys want engagement pics. Locations get booked fast. After month one start venue shopping. Venues book out far in advance. Consider a Friday wedding even though lots of couples prefer Saturday. This is amazing. So happy for you guys. I would try to secure a venue ASAP. They book fast!!! Once you have that done I would try and secure everything else as fast as you can to make sure you get what you want! I also don’t know if I would recommend a wedding planner unless you truly feel they know your exact vision. But I personally like to do everything myself so maybe that’s just me :) GOOD LUCK
