So I have it all hooked up, but If I don't leave the hose wide open it makes a clicking noise. And in about a minute the pump overheats.

I have the remco 12v 7gpm 100psi pump. I'm thinking the relay is bad, all it does is click noise. Battery is charged, still clicking noise from relay box. What are the part numbers of the different parts you bought? I would like to hook mine up, they way you did yours. I'm in Houston and I definitely know Marco and Amber

Any idea if this would work on the 5.5gpm pump?

I have hooked up to a 5.5 but its primary function is to replace the pumps with external relays.
