Delaware Snakehead Fishing (Featuring GNRF)

Snakehead fishing in Delaware has been going really well for us lately here at Orange 22 Fishing! Delaware snakehead fishing can be a ton of fun, so I met up with Trey from Gripn & Ripn Fishing (GNRF) to try to help him catch his first ever snakehead! We ran into our fair share of adversity while out on the water, but by the end of the outing we were thrilled with the results!

From my experiences when fishing snakeheads isn't in open water like that but in the pads or along side the bank where it's dark

@@AdamMiharaFishing Hey one of the wires came loose on the back side of the receptacle! Such an easy fix and we are back in action!

@@GNRF_GripnNRipnFishn I did a Veterans fishing event earlier this year and took a soldier fishing. My bow mount died 20 minutes into the day because of a melted fuse block. We used my Stick It Anchor Pin and made the best of it. Looks like David got some good chatterbait action despite your troubles

@@Orange22Fishing the bite down here is so much diff tho, cause they are mainly in spillway from ponds that connect to main river. So like inline spinners, swim baits, chatter baits is all they hit

@@MCMarkyMark0192 That's how alot of my spots are as well. I catch them on frogs in some places on the rivers, but the majority of mine come off of spinners, chatters, and buzzbaits

It's a dad day for Delaware fishing, when we are celebrating for catching snakehead. 😢 We are in BIG trouble, with our fish and ecosystem. I haven't seen a Bluegill in Brandywine in over 10 years! Huge problem. Wilmington Delaware resident myself. I caught a 16 inch Northern Snakehead by the zoo, about 5 years ago. Good fishing, 2u! ⭐
