The weirdest addition is really Maleficent and Hades. Maleficent being in the movie makes no sense from a timeline perspective. She’s supposed to be an adult when Aurora is a baby. Realistically Maleficent can’t really be a teenager when Jasmine, Aladdin, Cinderella and others were unless they are all significantly older than Aurora and had kids much later in life than she did. And Hades is a god. Why the hell would he be in a human high school?

The closest I'd ever put the age gap is five years, but a godmother is generally around the same age as the godchild's parents. As such, Fairy Godmother should be closer to 15-20 years older than Cinderella.

After they save Bridget’s future from the VK’s, they could’ve went to Castlecoming leading to the beginning of Ella and Charming (they sing “so this is love” full version) and Bridget could perform the “shuffle of love” as well. At the end of the movie, it could’ve went to Morgie holding the book and then running away. And Tiana should’ve replaced Jaladdin

My theory is Tiana’s character might’ve outshined the main cast a bit. That or the actress who they casted wasn’t somebody they wanted to work with long term so they decided to axe it and start over last minute. ORRRR they wrote new plans for her later on and regretfully should’ve made them prior to the movie and axe’d her from the movie. Missed opportunity that I hope they get right in the end.

Honestly, these scene r better than the actual movie tbh. If I wrote the script I’d make Tiana do the part and not Jasmine and Aladdin which traumatizes me to this day 💀. But I’d make Zellie the daughter of Rapunzel and have her follow Chole because she doesn’t believe she could do things by herself. Margie would take the book and we’d get 2 see Castlecoming.

It actually makes sense why Tiana and Zellie were cut. Tiana being there would not make sense with the timeline, as the film creator said a previous statement and also it would take the attention away from Bridget being the one who makes the best treats in school. And Zellie’s character became unclear to who she she was supposed to be. First she was Rapunzel‘s daughter, but then it didn’t make sense with the timeline. Then she was young Rapunzel but that also wouldn’t make sense since Rapunzel spent her childhood in a tower. Finally She was a relative of Rapunzel, like a cousin or something. But it still didn’t make much sense or became clear of who she was. So even though we would’ve loved to have seen their additions in the movie, I think it was the right decision that Disney scrap the idea.

I really loved Tiana's part here 😢 although as I rewatch the D4, when the Red Queen went to Auradon, there's this two characters which I think was the adult Aladdin and Jasmine? Am I right? They even have their own lines... Aladdin: "Look at her. She's enjoying this." Jasmine: "Like mother, like daughter." So I think that's why they chose Jaladdin's part than Tiana's part coz they were shown in the present time. But nevertheless, Tiana's part was way off better than the dance choreo part of Jaladdin 😅

1:29 would have been a dope way for a key change. There's too much dead space in "Life is Sweeter." I get that in between. There is dialogue where there is no singing but still could have kicked up the beat. Also, before the villains portion of the song kicks in, there is this weird (yet unnecessary) final note as if someone continued to play after the song ended.

I liked the movie but I always thought that some details were missing that creates a plot hole. The prank couldn't have been done in the first timeline since Uliana and gang got frozen as well and Merlin came thanks to his enchanted owls. So who did the prank in the first timeline ? Why couldn't they have done it as well is the second one ? There's 2 persons who could have done it : Morggie or Ella. The scene with Morggie holding the book is a hint but since that one got deleted then, that means he potentially got it but didn't use it for some reasons. So the culprit is Ella in the first timeline. There are a lot of hints in the movie. 1. She didn't help her only friend at the ball because she was with Charming. 2. She hates nobles (so that includes Bridget and Charming). 3. She seems to "like" Charming in Life is Sweeter but tends to think Bridget is dumb. 4. She won't hesitate to dirty her hands "if her hearts tells it's right". 5. The whole song "Keep your hands dirty".

these scenes would have been awesome and Morgie finding the forbidden book would have already made the movie make a lot more sense. People accuse Ella, Bridget’s best friend and probably the kindest fairytale princess of Disney history, for goodness’ sake. Seeing Uliana and co freeze we know they couldn’t have done it and sure Morgie wasn’t frozen but the movie doesn’t do anything to change the assumption that Morgie would have frozen like the others due to being a villain or would never have gotten the book anyway since he seemed fool enough to stay on lookout instead of going to make sure nothing has happened to the others when they don’t answer his warning. Meaning that even in the original timeline, the other VKs would have gotten frozen and busted by Merlin and he probably would have put the book somewhere safer.

Lol I don't really like anything in the rise of read because where as the original descendants movies stuck relatively close to the books this one strayed way to far from the books first off since the queen of hearts had been the villian of Alice in wonderland she would have been on the isle of the lost which is confirmed In the books and according to the books and this movie she did have a daughter but according to the books her daughter was not named red but Quinn the only trait that the movie and book share is the fact that red/Quinn was rebellious against her mother.

Well there's still going to make a part 2 to the movie so I think they're going to put the deleted scenes back into the second one to make it make sense somehow I don't really know how it works but yeah that probably going to do that because again there was a picture of a cast member with the script and it said Descendants Rise of Red part 1 so there's going to be a second part to it.
