Its always the writing and direction. No hate at all just giving my view, I remember how Isha and Shiva in Brahmastra constanly spoke about love but that was the most rushed part while here Rocky just says "pyaar hai toh sab hai" and we can instantly feel it. Ayan can definitely do better , meaning its not lack of chemistry between Alia and RK its just bad writing

Finally someone acknowledged the real issue. It's not the lack of chemistry between the actors rather it's bad writing. I hope Ayan Mukherjee hires a good team of writers for Part 2. Hussain Dalal (the writer of Part I) specialises in comedy and hence such bad writing. If the writing was good the movie would have been a blockbuster as everything else was on point.
