Yeah I agree with you at first I thought they would only show till him becoming S - rank but when I heard that they are doing it till (complete) Jeju Island arc in this season was kinda sad because no world building is there. The Hype of Jeju Island is not as much as it was in Manhwa because after this arc the Jeju Island one, Manhwa itself picked up the pace and was doing things really fast so I see no point in the Anime doing this at the start of the seasons And intact it's A-1 Pictures who are doing it, I never expected them to be the one to do this. And as a One Piece fan I agree that these are small but important parts of the World Building for Solo Leveling otherwise the experience won't be that much cause Just fight scenes and Jinwoo's Rizz is just not the only thing I am watching Solo Leveling for I am watching it for World Building too

Thanks you are mentioning this if not then many viewers will easily be swayed by this one sided info and will start to hate the anime subconsciously. There's never a perfect adaptation of the manga. There will always be certain things that might be easy in portray through art rather than animation and vice versa. As you mentioned they are also taking things from novel not solely from manhwa which shows they are giving their best. With that I also feel they should incorporate some scenes that are highly liked and praised by manhwa readers which will stop the complains the fast pacing. There's nothing perfect in this world its about your own perspective so all i can say is just enjoy.

The important part-what was necessary-was conveyed when his dad said, "Someone from the Red Gate survivors told me that Jinwoo is the one who saved everyone." In the manhwa, the survivor basically keeps yapping about how Jinwoo saved them, which isn’t necessary for the anime. The conversation about recruiting Cha Hae-In was addressed in Season 1, Episode 8, through an anime-original scene. This scene fleshed out Cha Hae-In’s character, showing that she isn’t someone who seeks fame or money. Additionally, the recruitment proposal information was presented effectively. In Season 1, Episode 8, there was also a conversation between Jinho and his father about gates, politics, and the changes involving the gates. Nice work, although I do not agree with this completely I have read manhwa for solo levelling and I watch the anime as well, first point 1:38 he says that in anime in English it was very cool, I agree animation for his aura could have been better. The restaurant scene was good not showing demons behind him?! That shouldn’t be a problem instead they could have flash a hint with demons. About the news 4:59 and after scene anywhere where jeju island is mentioned animator’s don’t want to reveal yet because we all manhwa readers know how great that arc is so Im sure they have planned something big for it. Honestly I hadn't read the Solo Leveling manhwa I had only watched the anime Based on my personal experience episodes 1 and 2 were really good full Goosebumps and episode 3 was decent okay² type However it didn't give me the same Goosebumps vibe as the first two episodes Personally I felt a bit disconnected from episode 3 but overall it was still a decent experience Not bad for a non-manhwa reader But after watching your video I felt that the manhwa had a more intense, peak experience, with a Goosebumps like aura. Overall if I had to say non-manhwa readers will have a decent good experience but those who have read the Solo Leveling manhwa might feel disappointed. So, it ultimately depends on the viewer's preference whether they like reading or watching animations
