This is really fascinating! Ki even though these languages are different, sounds are different but the pattern they follow are somehow similar! Thanks for sharing!

Bangla schwa deletion is much more confusing than that. Plenty of words where medial schwa is retained. সমতুল্য Shomotullo, অহংকার ohongkar, অপরাধ oporadh. Also apart from consonant clusters final schwa if often retained in words ending with Sanskrit suffix- ইত like promito, shurrokhito etc. Also the fact that pronounciation of schwa itself depends on the position. It is pronounced ऑ most of the times but also sometimes as ओ . For example অপরাধ is ऑपोराध. Odia is again consistent in this regard too. Schwa is always pronounced ऑ and never ओ

Oh thanks for the knowledge! (I really appreciate ppl like you) I had some idea about the complexity but it still seems a bit random? In'nit?

Now that I think about it ohongkar is not a correct example so that means medial schwa is just pronounced in some sanskrit prefixes like shomo(same), opo(bad), upo(sub). Ending Schwa is often pronounced in sanskrit words ending with -ত but many and many exceptions like is উচিত uchit not uchito. Oh I forgot to mention schwa is pronounced in adjectives too. ভাল Valo বড় Boro ছোট Choto
