Just an FYI most content creators have stated having both shorts and regular vids on the same channel messes with the algorithm and makes the channel harder to find via suggestions. So they usually have a separate shorts channel altogether. TLDR if this is for revenue and reaching new and existing viewers then create a shorts channel.

Kai, asmingold, pokimane, RDC etc. I have seen youtube creators give up on some channels because the algorthym got messed up from mixing regular content with shorts. You should find a couple youtube vids on the issue as well.
