Hi Lindsay. Thanks for watching these Holiday videos seem not to be as popular for us. This is a lovely site and so close to Delft Town Centre. Holland is a lovely place to visit. I know David is after going😉. Thanks again Phil & Juliet👍🙂

Hi Phil & Juliet, Comfort pitch is a good name for a serviced pitch and the electric hook up is close to the ground but in a camouflaged tree stump. Delftse looks really nice and historic with lots of bicycles 👍. Pleased you had a wonderful time 😀. By the way is your water inlet socket a Truma. You mentioned the Whale Watermaster which comes with a Truma adapter. Truma also do their own direct connection called Ultraflow Waterline. Hope you had a safe journey home and best regards, Rob & Gail

Hi Rob. Yes it is a good name for fully serviced. We had a wonderful time. We were gutted to leave. Yes it was the Whale version with the Truma adapter. I have spoken to Whale sadly it cannot be repaired. I have manage to buy a Truma version which we will be using on our next trip. Just like you we only use fully serviced pitches. The New Car towed really well and we had no issues at all. We came to all this rain. I thinking of building an Ark😂 Thanks Phil & Juliet🙂👍

Looks like a lovely area and great campsite. We are going there in October for a late season break with our friends Kev and Tracey so we’ll be looking for some nice cafes and restaurants too 😃👍🏻 Trev

Hi Trev. Delft is a lovely place. If you seek out the cafes just off the Square they tend to be a little cheaper but just as good. We are going back next year but Taking Alfie with us. It is a lovely Country. Thanks Phil👍🙂

Hi, Sorry to hear about the weather, I stayed on the site a few years back with my wife and our recently graduated 22 years son and will add that the site is fantastic. Really well positioned and great for seeing many towns inc. Rotterdam and Amsterdam using the train station which is in Delft centre. Delft is a beautiful town with a good independent cafe culture which suits us and 30 mins from the Ferry in Rotterdam. We found Delf Hout a really good and convenient site on which to stay. Did you try the restaurant on the Ikea next to the site? On Tuesdays it seems that a good proportion of the Delft inhabitants have their evening meal in the Ikea restaurant which like the store itself dwarfs the Ikeas we have in the UK.

Hi Colin. We only had 2 bad days out of 16 so I can't complain. We loved the cafes and bars in Delft. We have been to Rotterdam and Amsterdam before so we gave them a miss. We were not aware of the Ikea Tuesday meal night. We did call into Ikea as Juliet wanted some Bowls for her Dinner Service. I will bare this in mind when we go again. Thanks Phil🙂👍

Hi Phil, you appear to have been in the Netherlands at the same time as us. We unfortunately had to move sites during the storm and spent 3 hr's parked in an industrial estate waiting for the wind to die down. If you ever visit again we would recomend a site near Eersel called Ter Spegelt, exceptional facilities including free dishwashers at the wash blocks.

Hello, It sounds like you were. I have to admit it was one hell of a storm. Shame you got caught in it. No fun at all. Thanks for the site tip we are thinking of returning next year but with our Grandson. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Phil🙂👍

Hello Both, Sorry to here about the appalling weather you've experienced. There's something about the pitter patter of light rain on the caravan roof that's kind of restful but torrential rain is something else isn't it !? 😮

Hi Martin yes Pitter Patter is fine that night is was more like a banging drum😂. It was a lovely Holiday one I would highly recommend. Thanks Phil🙂👍

Hi Phil, very interesting info regarding your mains water connection failure. I’ve seen many anecdotal comments about failures, but never a first person experience. Any chance of going into a bit more detail of what happened? We’ve used the system for 2 years on a seasonal pitch without issue. Will you go back to it, or remain with the mini kit? Maybe a short video?
@lostweekendscaravan Жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes it was a shame. The pitch when we arrived had hardly any water pressure. After complaining the Engineer turned it up to maximum without informing me. I turned on the water and it instantly blew the pressure valve in the hose. I will contact Whale 1st and then I will make a video. I have since another but not a Whale. I bought the replacement as it was cheaper. I will be still using the Colapz Fresh Mini as a Back up though. Video to follow. Thanks Phil🙂👍

@@lostweekendscaravan I’ve watched a few American RV videos relating to water supply. They advocate a pressure regulator valve with a pressure gauge, between the tap and hose. They don’t seem too expensive to ensure water pressure safety. I’m considering it.
