Dk is 100% right regarding Nirmala Sitharaman. She is arguably Modi cabinet's most hated minister despite doing a descent job navigating through a turbulent global landscape. Let's not forget Modi himself mader her job tougher through the Ill-advised demonetization. Middleclass and Medium enterprises form the backbone of any economy. Her budget should focus on raising revenue through a larger tax paying population rather than increasing tax on existing tax payers.

​@@RajasNadkarni Changing her won't change a dime. The problem lies with our control-freak bureaucracy. UPSC might be India's most challenging exam, but it certainly doesn't produce the brightest lot. It's a classic case of half knowledge being more dangerous than no knowledge. IAS officers don't take any feedback and seldom attempt to streamline the system (on the rare occasions they actually do, they make the process more complex). Currently, NFRA, an IAS-run statutory body, is locked in a tussle with ICAI over accounting standards and reporting. Now, who among a CA or an IAS would know better about accounting? The same is happening with taxes esp GST. The IAS lobby doesn't understand business, yet it thinks they are the most competent to tax businesses. I wouldn't give clean chit to the FM either. She could have taken a broader view, especially from the Industry body, instead of solely relying on bureaucrats. Nevertheless, none of the FMs before her have ever done so except maybe VP Singh.

The last "Lion" of BJP in Delhi was Madan Lal Khurana. Also, INC is a lost cause in Delhi and nobody would be voting for Congress. It''s a straight AAP vs BJP fight. Irrespective of the recovery in Maha and Haryana, Narendra Modi is a pale shadow of his former self. He'll do his usual campaigning but he is hardly a swing factor in Delhi. BJP's core proposition to the voters is actually a welfarism++ (or Revadi++) model. Given that Kejriwal is also promising the same thing, the real winner of Delhi will be "BAD ECONOMICS".

1.Seems like it is test for Kejriwal, if he loses he will be in opposition for first time and can see how he performs his role in opposition because never lost. 2. His identity comes to torn as he said people elect me and make him CM, if not then he proved to be guilty in people's court.. 3. BJP strategy campaign would be much stronger this time and Congress may dent AAP vote bank..

Has this DK ever been right about anything? 1. Delhi isn't critical for BJP, but it is existential for AAP 2. Modi has nothing left to prove post Haryana and MH wins 3. Congress is a net negative for INDI because for every vote that Congress might bring in, they lose 3 when RaGa does his usual bayaanbaazi 4. Congress is not the glue that holds INDI together, this is not 2004.
