@@shrishyamkripa I had seen many comments currently in comment section and everyone saying that there is no work for anganwadi workers and they are demanding for 25000 that is irrational salary but I want to inform you that you all don't know the reality the ground reality of our helpers my mother is also herself a anganwadiworker and I know what work we have to do daily she has to fill MPR that means monthly progress report for what you are doing ........ I am providing a list below what work does anganbadi worker have to do 1. They have to organise a ecce day........... The Fixed Monthly ECCE Day is to be organized once every month at the AWC. The Fixed Monthly ECCE Day will be a platform for interface between the Anganwadi Worker and the parents/community. The ICDS functionaries would organize activities for advocacy, awareness generation and involvement of parents and community 2. They have to maintain records of 1000 people and ensure that no in is in malnutrition and also they have to collect date of minimum 1000 people's 3. They have to collect data for pregnant , lactation and all other woman's 6 . They have to monitor growth of all minimum 1000 children of age group 1-6 , in monitoring they have to check thier weight, hieght and all other key features ( it's quite difficult to have a survey of all 1000 people's per month ) 4. They have to collect delivery data of pregnant mothers and encourage them to get vaccinated for vaccines like Penta 3 polio and many others , I don't know all because my mother do it I don't 5 they have to conduct "anprashan" and godbharayi for new mothers 6 they have to distribute THR (Rashan) , and sometimes even door to door because in most cases beneficiaries don't come but they must have to distribute it because they already had given demand for 1000 population and if any one of them migrate or die or simply don't available to recive you're doing fraud 7 The food catalog never changes so it's difficult for anganwadi workers to distribute it because people don't want to eat same food again and again 8 they also have to collect data for pmvy forms (Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana). In which they have to collect data of mothers who have 1,2 babies ...... You can Google about it 9 all new schemes which government introduce they have to do it additionally without any additional charges 10 deworming capsules every month 11. They have to fill all these data in Registers , poshan tracker app , commcare lts app ( Google about these apps these apps are for anganwadi workers and both apps collect same data means they have to fill same data in one register and two apps ) 12. They have to make a excel sheet of same data 14. They have to give preschool education 15 ... And here is a loop hole anganwadi workers have to find anganwadi centres themself which means they don't have government buildings to work they have to find a anganwadi themself in a particular area for example if you're appointed in Ashok nagar project you have to find a anganwadi yourself in a that particular area also there should not a anganwadi already 16 and if you landlords kicks you out and you can't find a anganwadi in that same area how you are supposed to work ? And what if you get a visit? (Checking) 17 and what if you can't find a anganwadi in that particular area then you can have to do survey of new area of all 1000 people's 18 anganwadi workers have to send live location daily in WhatsApp groups connected to icds , but why you are bounding them if you are not giving them salary and you are giving them honorarium which means you are not hired you doing "samajseva" 19 Anganwadi workers had provided our local smartphone Samsung galaxy j4 and they also had signed in Samsung galaxy j7 by force and Samsung galaxy j4 is of 2GB RAM and 32GB storage with hangs a lot you can how much phone will hang if you have to work on two applications that I have mentioned portion tracker and commcare LTS and you also have to fill MPR on ICDS website you also have to click photos of thr distribution 20 also Delhi government have promise 200 rupees for Internet back then in 2019 when they have provided smartphones have to anganwadi workers but that 200 rupees are what which we are not getting , Delhi government just promised and not giving it 22 also the internet charges are got doubled back then 2019 23 Anganwadi workers workers had also provided almirahs desk table accepted but only for one time government do not replaced it and you will time and if anything breaks you have to pay it for your salary also if your phone got damaged you have to pay it from your salary 24 and there are high chances if you should your aganbadi for some reason for your landlord kick you out you your furniture could do damage 25 There are a lot of problems which anganwadi workers and helpers have to face in ground reality 26 these are some of them there really really many a lot problems but I could not write them all And even after a lot of struggles they are not Government employees They are not permanent And you can also cross check all of these details on Google
