Delhi Dehradun Expressway Full Project Details | Delhi Dehradun Expressway Phase-1 Progress

The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, also known as National Highway 72A (NH 72A), is an under-construction, 210 kilometres (130 mi) long, 12/6 lane access-controlled expressway, which will connect Delhi, the national capital of India, with Dehradun, the capital of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It will pass through the states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, and will pass through the cities of Baghpat, Baraut, Shamli and Saharanpur. It will have two spurs, or link roads, to ensure connectivity with cities lying nearby to its route: one 50.7-kilometre-long (31.5 mi), six-lane Saharanpur-Roorkee-Haridwar Expressway, and another 121-kilometre-long (75 mi), six-lane Ambala-Shamli Expressway. It is being built at a cost of around
₹ 13,000 crore, and will reduce both travel time and distance, from around 5-6 hours to only 2.5 hours, and from around 280 kilometres (170 mi) to 210 kilometres (130 mi)

Kya connection hai between building infrastructure and unemployment? Ab young graduates labour force toh join karenge nahi, since this is the only sector demanding an influx of job opportunities. Except civil engineering graduates, expecting every young graduate to find a job just because of ongoing construction is silly. Job creation k liye Govt ease of doing business ko improve krti hai, research students aur PhD holders kaise India mein rahe, rather than foreign countries mein jaye (which is the case with 95% of the PhD holders in India) yeh sab try krti hai, Govt colleges mein seats increase krti hai. Aur better infrastructure gives an indirect boost to the working class in cutting short their travel, also somewhat of a boost to local tourism. young educated people should seriously stop being overly dependant on the govt. Tax dene mein sabse peeche aur govt job demand mein, aur corruption mein sabse aage.

To be honest, I don't live in a big city, we don't even have any MNCs here, or even local family businesses (I live in J&K), yet I don't see much unemployment here? Except for those preparing for certain higher level entrance exams for jobs, everyone seems to be working?
