Finally found a vlog where one showed how to continue the onward journey from Amb andaura railway station to Dharamshala. Hope taxis will be readily available from Amb station when i plan to travel Dharamshala. Good vlog.

Hi there, am glad you found the content informative. Well taxis are available when you reach the Amb-Andaura station, and by chance if its not available, there are plenty of big autorickshaws that you can hop on with shared passengers towards the city and bus stand which is just 5 minutes away from the station. I dont know if people will travel daily on this train but its ridiculously cheaper than airfares, cheaper than taxis, and since the ticket cost is same as the buses, the passengers are offered a viable option other than buses: which most of time get stuck in the traffic for hours!.

Take Jammu Tawi or Himgiri Express from Kolkatta to Pathankot Cantt. Dharamshala is almost 3 hours in a bus or taxi from Pathankot.

Total Expenses: Ticket: CC (Chair Car) - 1110 Taxi from Amb to Dharamsala - 2500 ( Depends) 2500 - 3000 My expenses at the time was 3610 EC Ticket (Two seaters) are more expensive. (2068 from Del to Amb) (2275 from Amb to Delhi) Hope this helps.
