The architecture style is something different yet not unknown. It has similarities with the Dhakeswari Temple, Dhaka.Thank you for sharing Netaji 's famous INA headquarter. In Bangladesh, in some parts ginger,garlic , coriander powder, cumin powder are avoided where we Chittagongian people use it like Monipur . Like Manipur , Chittagongian people don't fry fish before cooking as it takes away the smell of sea water. I think that in Manipur, in this region fish is not fried because it takes away the smell of the lake water. And one thing in common the dried fish. What makes Ooti different from other veg dishes is the use of soda bicarbonate in its preparation...you add it while it's being cooked which gives it a different flavour

That soda bicarbonate plays an important role. In a typical Meitei feast, people first eat the main course, which will consist of the ooti among others. And then the desserts come, which will have a kheer and a cooked fruit dish. And because you already had the ooti, with its soda bicarbonate, you don't get an upset stomach eating the kheer (milk based) and the acidic fruit dish.
