really like your technique for decreasing the ends & square nothing the middle of the pulls & the bigger bead on the ends. much easier than others I watched. I'll be giving it a try asap. I will be using more warp threads, as a pattern I designed for ivy leaves will require more beads. I'll adjust the decreasing technique to accommodate this. thank you

Rotating the wooden bars is genius! This makes more sense when a project (for example) is 7 inches in length. Never would have thought of that! Thank you! And.! How you decrease beads in the first part like at the end?

Leave the tail end of your thread long when you start. Add a needle onto it when you are ready to add the missing rows and then use it to do the decrease rows like the other side.

I did this bracelet awhile ago. If you are talking about the beads length I think you would want to leave at least an inch opening for the knot closure so measure your wrist and then subtract that inch from your total to figure out bead length.
