Hi I’m leaning all the time! Didn’t know about gel glue or the pigment powder. Well, I have got two powders from magpie. Phosphorus I think it’s called, very bright. I love the effect of the nails you did as they were before the stamping to be honest. Although I must say you have done a lovely job with the stamping. It takes a lot of patience. I get frustrated with the unpredictability of stamping so although I’ve plates and stampers I haven’t done any for a while. Now we’re in the unmentionable situation I might play around with it again. The last stamping plates I bought you would probably love. The type were you stamp in layers to get say a bird on a branch. You stamp the branch, then the flowers, then the bird for one design. Hope it makes sense🤷🏻‍♀️ Thank you for taking the time to share and take our minds off other things. I don’t suppose you could clarify the different types of gel when building gels nails. I find it confusing. Builder gel, fibre gel etc. Thanks catch up soon🙋‍♀️🇬🇧💅🏻

carole clare well I’m glad I mentioned it and you can benefit from that information. Yeah stamping layers of images can be tricky, you could put a thin layer of gel topcoat on half way through stamping so if you make a mistake you can wipe it and it won’t remove what you’ve stamped so far and can try again, that has proven really helpful to me in the past. With the different gel polishes, what you would pick is dependant on what your wanting to achieve. Builder gels are a thicker more hard wearing than normal gel polishes, they are great for encapsulating chunkier glitter if you use a clear builder gel, it’s great because you can find the nail down so it’s smooth because a builder gel is thicker than a normal gel topcoat, they are also good for making your nail stronger and less likely to break or chip if your wanting length to your nail. The fibre glass ( the fine white strands) you place on end of your nails are for if you want instant nail extension, they are really strong and unlikely to break or chip, you would have to trap it in a door to break it I reckon. Gelulicious what a good idea to do a thin top coat mid stamping so you don’t lose the whole thing if you make a mistake. Now why didn’t I think of that?🤷🏻‍♀️🙄. Bye the way, I’ve tried to find the same gel glue you used when applying the magpie powder but can’t find it. I like the powders and glitters burnished because you get a really thin end result. @@Gelulicious she had it they think. 4 drs said so after my 7 yr old failed the flu test. It was scary. She was sick starting in december like all the other kids. Thing was, she didn't get better. Wouldn't eat. Coughed a lot. Couldnt breathe well enough to run around. I remember telling my husband she was languishing. For 2 weeks she didn't do anything but lie in bed sick and sleep. Then, she was sick weekly after that. Shes still coughing. I think it scratched her lungs a bit
