Using the flat of a well smoked Texas style Brisket and shedding that down.... oh man! Talking about turning up the tasty on that Chili recipe you made!... I’m salivating thing about it! Thanks for the basic recipe. My wife has been craving it for a while now that it’s fall. I’ll get on that this weekend and Instagram you the results.

Your chili looks fantastic! I don't own a smoker, but I love that flavor in chili, so I use the smoked paprika like you did along with chipotle powder and some bacon. It's not as robust as using a smoker, but it's still very good and the best I can do.

Chili can be as easy or time consuming as you like. I use ground beef and smoked tri tip along with the usual ingredients. If any bitterness comes out, just add a bit of brown sugar. Enjoyed the video.

What's your ratio of ground beef to tri tip?

Ground beef, black beans, and sweet corn, is how I like my chili

I do it very similarly, only I smoke the meat on a baking grate on top of a broiling pan so the smoke can get in from the top and bottom as the grease drips away. But I smoke it to 120o then take it out, put it in a pot and finish cooking it with bacon grease then break it up into chunks, and then and my other ingredients.

sweet baby rays is GARBAGE. Use REAL BBQ sauce like Famous Daves or Kinders!

Drain or don't for the beans?
@TerryDuo3 жыл бұрын
Now that I watched you adding beans again and some spilt, I'm assuming you didn't drain. Searching the web seams to be mixed in whether to drain or not. Going to try without draining.
