brilliant stuff. the production is top notch. Dilla-esque in the best possible way. vocals are great as well. I've always dreamed of a D'angelo version of this song, and I think this might be the closest thing to it, not to disrespect or take anything away from this wonderful version at all.

Weird interpretation, I think it will not put many people on the dance floor as the classic versions did and still do. Nevertheless I like it.
