I can't get over that Howard-ish armchair and those simple cream coloured drapes, for someone from a working class background these are interiors I can only dream of, until finally I give up and find other values and ways to be happy in life besides money, comfort and ownership. A nice Dessert: Slice plump chilled Strawberries. Put back in the fridge to chill. In a sauce pan, add a heaping tablespoon of butter. To that, add a heaping tablespoon of rich, dark brown sugar and two ounce of Kahlua. let the emulation of butter sugar and Kahlua caramelize. Place your thick slices of strawberries on your plate, pour over the caramelized sauce. Next, dab on a tablespoon of (Sour) Cream, not whipped cream. Then drizzle with chocolate sauce. To end it off, crackle over black pepper over everything, the sweet, sour and pepper is a taste explosion in your mouth.

I’m so confused. If kids are putting ketchup on your star shaped French toast, then it’s total garbage. 😂 A whole bottle of white wine? Why not a dash of crack cocaine in your lamb stew? Adds a layer of depth and Jonathan Swift-like elegance to the crucial undertones of pulverized onion, celery and coarsely chopped carrots. Clementine cake seemed legitimate. This is like watching Jamie Oliver go through a messy divorce, tax audit, and street mugging whilst making fried rice all at the same time.
@whiteshell1 Жыл бұрын
This makes no sense. What are you confused about? This is eggy bread, not french toast. French toast has sweetness to it. This is like grilled cheese with a coating on it. Wine cooks off so theres not going to be alcohol in it anymore. What else?

@@whiteshell1 US people don't get it. They use sugar for everything, and their bread is sweet too. So when they see someone putting bread into the eggs, then fry, they think it's a sweet thing, since everything is sweet in their kithcen. I'm from Hungary, we do the same as Nigella here, it's a salty thing, this eggy bread thing. But our bread is not made with sugar here. So you can put kethcup on it, soured cream for example.
