I loved both! It's very difficult to choose a preference between the two. It depends on your mood and the occasion. I sprayed a litle on my thumb on accident and I can still smell it 6 hours later. Strong!

I have Musc Noir and really love it, but it appears to be more of a skin scent, which I really don't mind, plus I got the 3.4oz at a decent price. This was helpful, as I'm curious about Musc Noir Rose, and will probably purchase, but in the smallest size.

I just did a blind buy of Musc Noir todsy. NR Fleur Musc was a blind buy and my first departure from niche fragrances in about 12 years. Im not a fan of rose so that puts me off of Fleur Musc a bit but I do like it enough to wear it sometimes. I will likely add Poudree and/or Ambree to my collection eventually. Narcisco is just a lovely, modern, sophisticated, but not stuffy, line of fragrances. I feel like there's a NR fragrance for every woman.

Thank you! I was a bit indecisive between the two. The first time I smelled musc noir rose I hated it and loved musc noir. Today I tried both in different arms and was being paranoid with the cat piss smell musc noir was reminding me of, as someone confirmed in the comments too! So crazy 😂 So I left the store with the rose one growing on me: I fell it's stronger but also more discrete, while it's more dense. It resonated with me what you said about musc noir being a bit fruity and for everyday. I actually prefer this scent, musc noir rose might be for other skins and noses 😊 feel I have a winner. I smelled both of them at the store and since I could only choose one for a sample I chose the Rose as it has a deeper sensual scent, like what you're talking about. But I would like to try the original once my bottle runs out.

They don't sell NR at any of the stores me. I was ready to blind buy Noir Rose, but when you mention leather I got nervous. Hopefully I'll be able to travel this summer to a larger metro area and smell this at a counter.

I like musc noir but it has no projection no sillage no longevity ... its like a very intimate perfume only you can smell it or maybe for less than an hour a person sitting just inches away n thn within 2 hrs or so it starts vanishing completely ... so its my going to bed scent i wear it before going to sleep n by the time i doze off its almost disappeared ... how r these issues with musc noir rose ?

I just tried 4 samples of For her in EDT, EDP, Musc noir and musc noir rose. Finds that EDT is sophisticated skin scent but is the weakest of the 4. If you like EDP, it’s a sharp rose scent. I prefer the rose scent of musc noir rose as Its stronger and sweeter. But then I can’t shake the feeling of familiarity cos it smells a bit generic with your usual sweet scent but without any uncomfortable notes. As for the musc noir, it’s the one that I had a roller coaster feeling with. When wet, it smells like cat piss. After dry down, it smells really sexy and animalistic. You will be thinking to go down and dirty with this one. It’s not a safe buy at all!

Thank you!! I just tried both in the store and said exactly "cat piss" 😂 I though I was imagining. I loved the scent of musc noir rose after a few minutes, but it disappeared faster than musc noir. And once musc noir dried out, it smells nicer for me! Fresher than the rose!
