I just smelled this today at Nordstrom. Definitely dry woody, but smooth and not scratchy, I guess because the carrot seed keeps it from being parched. It’s unisex and bright, in the style of an everyday clean musk, but with more vetiver to make it tangy and earthy. I liked it and the rep gave me a manufacturer’s sample, which he said Byredo does for new releases. It definitely fits with the brand’s scent aesthetic and seems generally likeable for a broad audience. I thought Adam Levine for Her was much sweeter (not that it was overly sweet), and more straightforward sandalwood-ish. I eventually sold that bottle because I got bored with it, but it was nice for the price!

Whatever it is with my chemistry, in the bottle it smelled beautiful, but on my skin it was straight up dill chips. And apparently i’m not alone!! Multiple reviews on Fragrantica about Desert Dawn smelling like dill.

Amouage has a carrot seed fragrance called Meander, it's very special note and I have to admit I didn't smell anything like carrot seed before either haha

Thanks for sharing. ❤ i have a question about Fall scents. If you live somewhere that it is warm all year should you just wear Spring and Summer scents? I love the Fall scents so might have to move depending on what you say 😂

Wear what you like when you like your body chemistry may be agreeable to heavier scents in the heat. But always try before you buy
