Donna, my paternal grandfather always said, “the just suffer for the unjust”. When I was growing up, this was his answer anytime something bad happened-no matter what it was. This is still true and it is always my answer when bad things happen!!! He would also always say “there ain’t nothing new under the sun”. I always believe and rely on the fact that no matter what happens, we should be constantly aware that God is in control!!! It is very sad that horrible things need to happen to bring us back to God!!! If we ever lose compassion for others we lose our soul, too!!! You are so sweet to be so heavy hearted for those in need and in danger. We do take our lives for granted. I believe the good Lord gives us these opportunities to hurt for our fellow brothers and sisters, whether we know them or not. He hurts for us. He sees disaster in the lives of His children every second of every day. So when I think about how it hurts Him, it makes it more real and my prayers must increase. There is always good hidden in the darkest places. Even a pin prick of His light seems like the most brilliant sun when He shines in the darkness. Be blessed, my sweet and kind friend. Dear Donna, I never comment becuase there is so much I want to say. I live in NW Florida, on the coast. Milton is not a problem for us, but I have family where it is going. Good morning Ms Donna praying for Floridians. It is hard to do stuff knowing all of them are in danger. I've been up since 2:30 this morning. My brother lives in Blackshear Ga. they got hit hard by Helena house is unlivable right now for him and his family 😢 and he is standing tall with the Lord he said this to shall pass. He has such a faith and joy in the Lord just so seldom seen...in all that has happened to him and other's

Instead of concentrating on himself he took his wife and children up to his in-laws and came back to Ga and was helping other's and ministering to other's. He is reunited with his family now but what is there next step only the Lord knows ❤🙏❤🙏

As you can imagine, our hearts are really heavy at the moment. Saying tons of prayers. On a sidenote, your handheld Greater was what I bought for each of my kids last year for Christmas. Continue to pray to the only one who has control! God's will is going to be done whether we question everything or not. He is in control! Remember Donna, God's ways are different than ours. Donna, I'm right there with you having a heavy heart. It bothers me when storms are going to hit the US, but it's really hit me hard with Helene and now Milton. It just makes me stop and ask God "How much more can our country take?". My heart breaks for all of those who no longer have a home knowing I have a home that I'm just worrying about re-decorating. It seems like the media is so focused on spreading hatred throughout our country. As Christians, we are certainly being pushed to our limits in our battle with Satan. But God WILL prevail! I donated to Samaritans Purse, and felt a little better. They are a great organization that are on the ground in Carolina. I think donating canned goods to your local food bank is way to help as well.I live in NC and the Baptists on a mission organization were in Asheville the day after serving breakfast and lunch. I don't have a link to their site, but you could google them. I am not a Baptist trying to push a denomination on you, just trying to get information out on how we can help instead of worrying. Donna, I understand! Helene was supposed to come up through here (West Georgia), and we were ready. Braced for it with candles and oil lamps. Put all our yard decor up etc. But she took a veer to the East and got those who weren’t expecting it. Then went up through the mountains. The devastation breaks my heart. Those people lost it all. And the gov’t help is just not there. They say they are, but there’s no evidence. Thank the Lord for Samaritan’s Purse and other groups and individuals that ARE there, with supplies, helping hands, and love! We are praying fervently.

To you it may seem trivial, but your videos help the mind to focus on some positivity, some joy and happiness. Yes, it may just show your house, your dog, your day, your family but this is an authentic distraction from the terrible things we see going on now in this world, this country. So I thank you. She said you think this stuff is going to be going down the road with me and my casket, that hit me hard. I was out thrifting today and I could not help but think how blessed I am to be able to get out and shop while others are in such panic and fear of what they are going to have to face when this is all over… it does make me feel guilty. Good morning Donna! Loved seeing your parents! They’re so cute! I too have a heavy ❤. Thankfully we are further north of the storm and out of the cone. Expecting some wind, rain, and possibly power outages. My heart is broken for the ones further south. I’m also praying that it will fizzle out and lose its strength! Let me share what the Lord has shown me and is helping me with. After Helene hit I was praying for those who were affected and just felt so sad. The Lord encouraged my heart to be glad and rejoice in whatever moments I had that were good. Don’t feel guilty for one second if you wanna laugh…. Laugh. Enjoy your pretty nails and getting to go to the booth. Enjoy your normal! Because what I have found to be true is that no matter who you are, storms in life hit all of us. Maybe not an actual hurricane or tornado, but sickness , caring for aging parents or family members, personal sickness, whatever. Those are also storms. You have actually just weathered a storm in your own life with your surgery and healing up from all of that. That cloud hung over you for a while. I agree with you Donna.... I think it is good when you share your heart, it shows your viewers that you are real! I have watched so many awesome youtube videos about people and groups going to help.... I also pray Mitchell fizzles out before it hits the coast. I have been watching on three, and beards and bikes both on youtube.... They are boots on the ground and taking supplies, it is also getting scary as there were reports that people are pulling trailers over and stealing the supplies, it is panic and beards and bike were prepared with pew pews..... sad it comes to this, but I cannot imagine the panic people are having who have lost everything!

We have friends & family in Florida and we have been covering everyone in the path of this storm in prayer. I'm like you, very tender hearted toward others - especially when they are going through such difficult things and there's nothing we can do as humans to make it better. I have been very troubled by this as well. I know that in the face of what others are going through (especially the hurricane victims and those in the path of this current hurricane), that anything we do seems trivial. I want you to know that nothing you do is trivial - somebody needs to hear your voice, see your smile, see the love of Jesus shining through you. You never know just how much of an encouragement & inspiration you are to others. What you do matters! For example, I started out this week sick (on the mend now, thank You Jesus) and then it's just been a rough day. I clicked on your video and your compassion toward the hurricane victims and those in the path of Milton blessed me so much - because at the end of the day, we are human beings - regardless of skin color, nationality, political affiliation, saved or unsaved...we will never look into the eyes of a person Jesus doesn't love. I know your heart is hurting for those impacted by the hurricanes (mine is too and so many others as well) - but stay encouraged and I know you are going to hold on to Jesus. I saw this morning that some of the sources on the ground are running out of supplies. They suggested giving gift cards so they can restock on items needed. Our state of Virginia sent a lot of work crews, and my prayers go out to them as well. Luv ya girl!

Just sitting down with coffee before a busy day and watching this video now. I caught up on the Hurricane damage in NC last evening and had a horrid night sleep. Living in VT during Hurricane Irene with mountain roads washed out, the scare of being cut off as I viewed those road gaps, no power for days and only communication was thru an old AM radio I had-this is how we knew what was going on until help arrived. And now a cat 5 storm headed for FL where my brother and wife and friends live....prayers for all....ease your heart, Donna....we are with you....🙏

Watching you at 2 am in the morning from Augusta, Ga Still have no power or water. On well pump, it was destroyed . Power was turned on to our house - internal problem, so still no power. Can't do anything until Insurance disaster team gets here. Disaster relief will not be here until Oct. 24th.so we are camping in one room and part of deck. Everything is destroyed. Everything is such a process. We should be getting into an apt. within 3-4 days more days. I believe this is now day eleven. I thank God for our lives. My husband and I have been married 58 years. We have a wonderful family and friends. We haved lived in this house 48 yrs. This was home, our two precious daughters grew up here. Our daily lives centered around our home. All our Holidays were had in our home with families. Our lives and home as we knew it will never be the same. We have so, so many memories that will always be there. It's going to be a long process, but we will survive and this day too shall pass. Finally have some spotted cell service as always it does my heart good to watch your video. It may take awhile but I will finally get thru it. Thank you! I will keep praying for everyone going through this, especially families who had loss of life. My heart is so heavy, but we can only look to God!

Well I didn’t need the boo hoo time. I’ve been pretty good at holding myself together when I talk to my daughter. Guess I needed to let it out a little. The updates we are getting says May just be a cat 1 by the time it gets her way. I’m on her resort page and get neighbors updates and that helps. Your mom and dad are precious! Gonna go out for a bit while things are still calm in Orlando and I don’t have to sit and watch Facebook all day. Can’t make ranch dip when the new jar of mayo is bad…taking back to wal mart. Yes, my heart is broken too watching videos on what is going on in North Carolina and Tennessee. I pray for the state of Florida and this storm dies down. I live in an area where we have floods but nothing like this. This is a natural disaster beyond words it is obliterated and there are so many people we need to pray for who are suffering so much. I kind of feel the same as I did on 911 it is so sad. I hope everyone comes together and we help them. I believe the news wants to divide our country.
