A fun collaborative build idea could be a Pass the House challenge. One creator does the exterior, the other the floor plan and basic furnishing, another for decor. It could be broken up to as many or a few parts but it would be fun to see everyone work on something together

lilsimsie and Dr Gluon did something similar some time ago, wherein each would build a small house/apt flat (based on a certain set of parameters, I think), then they had to describe their build to the other and the other had to try to re-create the build from the description alone. Just to add to the chaos, it was all timed.

One idea could be having viewers upload a build based on a room or house they want to renovate in real life, and then you ‘renovate’ them based on a small blurb of what the viewer wants from the reno. Kind of like dream home decorator without the bugs.

I just love watching the way you build in the sims, it’s so satisfying, and you always go for the design choices I like better lol and in the rare occasions you don’t, I can still appreciate your thought process. It also lowkey has Sims 3 Into The Future vibes (it’s one of my fave packs) 😍 Edit: and OMG DELI this build is beautiful. Would love to see more buildings or aesthetics through history as a series! I also think James would furnish this like super futuristic and science lab-like - I feel like you and James should build and furnish with a specific outline/style and compare them at the end! 😀 Great video as always Deli ❤

One challenge you could do is make a building and decorate it each time for a different use without ruining the layout. For example you make a building, make it a house, then unfurnish it and make it a gym, then a spa centre without messing with the walls

I find the “every room is a different colour” challenges boring but the challenges that require each room to be a different movie character or star sign or career etc. Those are fun. And can be super creative.
@loraelstad89415 күн бұрын
I'm with you on that. Just color schemes, kinda meh. But, ideas or themes, yassss.
@vincentlevarrick65574 күн бұрын
"Every Room a Different Colour" can be fun to watch but I find it realy truly depends on the creator. Some creators really let themselves go, and lean into it and have fun. You know... the point of a challenge 😁 And then there are others who seem to be afraid of branching out into anything different, and are really stuck in a beige or blue box. Then they agonise over every item and every colour swatch, whilst manically cycling through many options really quickly and when they finally decide on an item it lasts 2 seconds before "ew! no I hate that. That's SO ugly!" *everytime*. I don't enjoy watching videos like that. I personally find it stressful. Our Deli doesn't behave like that ☺ She is enjoyable to watch as a creator becuse she takes her time and it feels she delights in every swatch. There's never an "Ew!" "gross!" ugly!". Nothing harsher than "I don't really like that" or "I prefer this colour". Deligracy's cosy vibes are a soothing antithesis to stressful (and-not-comical) build videos.

The wicked experience screams 🌟adhd 🌟 (I know its been said to you before, but my own diagnosis was so helpful to understand me that I prefer to say it again). About ideas: What about a design style series? Where you explore different style trends and build houses accordingly? You know so much about it and I think it would be really interesting. I do enjoy the common challenges, but it upsets me when they're approached so literal that the house is just a mess. Maybe you or anyone else feels the same and thats why its not that entertaining. Maybe a twist to it would be to really try to incorporate the challenge characteristics (like the color, or style, or number of rooms, etc) in a careful and well though way. Tiny town, both the aspects of design and story telling, feels really perfect to you, so maybe future challenges that are similar would be great. Either way, welcome back!

loved how the roofing looked like a wave or waterfall, but i think you made it even better with adding more dimension across that plane. its so cool! ETA: Deli talking about safety and paper and I'm like yea papercuts, missing the obvious connection of smoke alarm = fire... also waiting for Deli to realise her "need to know the plot in advance" is a ptsd thing, and its likely that the "rabbit holes" or research intensity is a trace of other neurodivergence.
@vincentlevarrick65574 күн бұрын
Hey, you're right to not underestimate paper cuts. They sting like all get out, because they slice deep into the skin layers, to where the nerves and pain receptors are. If you're very unlucky you can end up with an infection in the cut. Then of course when they're healing, if the outer dermal layer doesn't mesh first, you're left with this drying skin that catches on every piece of fibre and textile - which compounds the irritation and oversensitivity. 😬

Love the build! You could try the “pack legacy challenge”.
